The UK has approved the Pfizer/BioNTech coronavirus vaccine for use in children aged 12 to 15.
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) authorised the use of the jab in the younger age group on Friday following a review of its safety, quality and effectiveness.
The Pfizer Covid-19 jab was the first to be authorised for use in the UK at the end of last year.
Dr June Raine, MHRA chief executive, said: “We have carefully reviewed clinical trial data in children aged 12 to 15 years and have concluded that the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine is safe and effective in this age group and that the benefits of this vaccine outweigh any risk.
“We have in place a comprehensive safety surveillance strategy for monitoring the safety of all UK-approved Covid-19 vaccines and this surveillance will include the 12- to 15-year age group.
“No extension to an authorisation would be approved unless the expected standards of safety, quality and effectiveness have been met.
“It will now be for the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) to advise on whether this age group will be vaccinated as part of the deployment programme.”
A Department of Health spokeswoman said: “The government has asked the independent experts at the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) to advise whether routine vaccination should be offered to younger people aged 12 to 17.
“We will be guided by the expert advisors and will update in due course.”

What’s the rationale for vaccinating children for COVID-19? Where’s the data, the science that would support this move? We see none, and we think it’s dangerous.

Why would there be a push to vaccinate 6-month-old babies or 10-year-old children via an experimental vaccine that delivers genetic code into your cells instructing it to produce a portion of the virus (the ‘S’ or Spike protein), yet with no safety data and based on trials that didn’t run to the required duration to adequately assess the safety of the vaccine?
Why put our children at undue risk when they can be allowed to be infected naturally and harmlessly as part of day-to-day living, by mingling?
This is illogical, irrational, unsound, and, we argue, an absurd position of experts who should know better.
What Is the Risk?
There’s no basis for vaccinating children from COVID-19 as is being suggested by Dr. Fauci (from 6 months to 11 years old). Children are at very low risk of illness, especially severe illness from COVID-19, and children do not spread the illness. The most updated data from the American Academy of Pediatrics showed that “Children were 0.00 percent–0.19 percent of all COVID-19 deaths, and 10 [U.S.] states reported zero child deaths. In states reporting, 0.00 percent–0.03 percent of all child COVID-19 cases resulted in death.”.....

teen boy from Pittsburgh is having to be hospitalized after the second Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) injection from Pfizer caused him to develop severe myocarditis.
The parents of 17-year-old Alex Franks say he was perfectly healthy prior to getting “vaccinated” for the Chinese Virus, but that everything went downhill after he got jabbed at “warp speed” in accordance with Donald Trump’s mass injection program.
“It was the middle of the night,” Franks told local media about when he first started to develop severe adverse effects from the injection. “I was walking upstairs from the basement when I got a sudden constricting feeling in my chest.”
Franks’ parents immediately rushed their son to the hospital where it was determined that he had serious inflammation around his heart. Doctors refused to link the condition to the injection, but Franks’ parents have come to that conclusion all on their own.
“That’s when things became eye-opening for us because it became much more serious very, very fast,” Karen Franks stated.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is supposedly looking into the matter to determine whether or not the “Operation Warp Speed” injection is linked to the boy’s serious health condition.

It is shocking that as of Friday 6 June the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) approved the use of the Pfizer vaccine in children aged 12 to 15 years old.
The MHRA apparently carried out a “rigorous review” and found that “safety, quality and effectiveness have been met”. Quite how they can be satisfied that the required safety standards have been met is unclear when this product is still at the research stage with only limited short-term safety data available and nothing yet known about any medium or long-term side effects.
The child clinical trials will continue to be monitored for long term protection and safety two years after vaccination. If serious, long-term health impacts emerge, it will be too late for those who are vaccinated now, who will have to live with the consequences. Already there seems to be a signal in the data from Israel revealing myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) described by the Israeli health authority as 1 in 44,000 16-30 year-olds, but with higher incidence in the youngest groups. This is not responsible medicine and is a reckless approach to children‘s health.
During an FDA meeting Thursday to discuss granting Emergency Use Authorization for COVID vaccines for children under 12, several experts spoke out against the plan, saying the benefits don’t outweigh the risks for young children.

French ethics committee advises against rush to vaccinate teenagers
June 11, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) -- One week after the French government announced that youth between ages 12 and 18 will be able to receive the experimental COVID vaccines starting June 15, the National Ethics Advisory Board (CCNE) published an answer to a question submitted by the Ministry of Health regarding the ethics of giving the jab to minors, stating in an official notice published Wednesday that the CCNE “regretted” that the decision to vaccinate adolescents had “been made so quickly” without waiting for its opinion.
The 19-page notice poses many questions regarding the benefits, or absence thereof, of the “vaccine” for young people and also underscores the imperfect knowledge both of the disease the jab is supposed to protect against and of its effects on young people because the phase III testing of the experimental vaccines is incomplete, and particularly so regarding teenagers.
Hodkinson - This of course is an experimental vaccine. It should have never been released. It was never an emergency which predicated the development of the vaccine. As with all vaccines there are complications, which were predicable with time. But there was never enough time given for the clinical trial.
In particular, complications are now coming out that are very disturbing. The latest one in the last few days, starting off in Israel is the frequency of myocarditis in young adult males and getting worse the younger they are in teenagers.
Myocarditis is a medical term for inflammation of the heart.
Now, the CDC is calling this reality of a large number of these events (with over 200 events in the US recorded).
The CDC is calling this an "unbalanced" realization. It's the CDC that's unbalanced.
Myocarditis is Never Mild
as they are describing it for the general public, many not terribly significant.
The heart muscles – the cells that make up the heart muscles NEVER regenerate. If one dies, they are done.

What will the plausible deniability be when children die? Will it be similar to their lies about elderly deaths? Or will it be adverse effects from the vaccines disguised as a "new variant"?
Isn't it odd how when confronted with truth, whether it's police staff or hospital staff – they are very hands off; confrontational and hard-headed?

You state the benefit of the vaccine for children would be that they then “don’t need to worry about Covid-19”. Children are already in a position where they do not have to worry about Covid-19, as the risk to them is close to zero.
You state that another benefit would be that they then are likely to not infect their parents. Children do not play a major role in transmission, and there is also no evidence from the regulatory trials that the vaccines prevent transmission. This is clearly a statement intended to provoke an emotional response of guilt followed by a sense of duty, and as such it is propaganda rather than factual advice.
You state that the main downside of getting the vaccine is that it is “another injection into your arm”. This is a gross misrepresentation of the known and unknown risks of potential serious adverse effects of the Covid-19 vaccines for children...
Life-threatening effects and deaths have been reported in young adults and children in the US and Israel, which you do not refer to at all.
JCVI ‘not recommending the vaccination of under-18s’ – minister
Vaccination experts are not planning to give the green light for administering Covid-19 jabs to children, a Cabinet minister has suggested.
Reports suggest that the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) will not advise the Government to press ahead with a vaccination campaign for under-18s.
Academics have debated the issue, with some arguing that the UK should follow the US and Israel and begin to vaccinate children to prevent outbreaks in schools.
Others have questioned the ethics of offering vaccines to children when it would have little clinical benefit.
Don't take this JCVI recommendation as gospel. They've probably received a lot of heat – see this thread for the number of experts and groups saying it's insane to vaccinate children.
SAGE and Pro-Lockdown/Jabbers want you to think it's perfectly safe for children. Do you research - at least read the above thread and go to some of the informative links therein.
This might be a reprieve but we know their goal – T.H.E.Y. want to vaccinate children. Look for them to develop reasons and ways to do it.

Exclusive: Dad Says Life ‘Not the Same’ for 21-Year-Old Student Who Developed Myocarditis After Second Moderna Shot
A New Jersey student whose college, the New Jersey Institute of Technology, requires all students to be fully vaccinated in order to attend classes in the fall became ill within hours of receiving the second dose of Moderna’s COVID vaccine.
A 21-year-old New Jersey student suffered severe heart inflammation after receiving his second dose of Moderna’s COVID vaccine. Justin Harrington, whose school required him to get the vaccine in order to attend classes in the fall, experienced flu-like symptoms followed by heart pain within eight to 12 hours of receiving the vaccine.
In an exclusive interview with The Defender, Justin’s father, Timothy Harrington, said his son felt different after the second shot. “Every time his heart beat it hurt and he felt pressure,” Harrington said. “Then he developed heart pain down both arms.”
Harrington said his son, who has no underlying medical conditions, did not experience heart pain with his first dose of the vaccine.
On May 24, two days after Justin received the second shot, his father took him to the emergency room at Morristown Memorial Hospital because the symptoms had worsened.
“The physicians weren’t connecting it to the vaccine until I informed the doctors my son just got the vaccine, and shared with them the information I had found on myocarditis,” Harrington said. “I didn’t think the doctors were stupid, but physicians sometimes see with blinders on.”
Physicians checked Justin’s blood levels, which showed high protein numbers. Abnormal scans, including an EKG, led to a diagnosis of myocarditis. Justin was hospitalized for three days while doctors attempted to get the condition under control.
Harrington said even though his son has been released, he still has chest pain and his life is not the same.
“He has to wear a heart monitor and take four different medications for six months,” Harrington said. “He has to sleep propped up, can’t exert himself and he’s missing out on one of the most important times of his life.”
Harrington said his son is supposed to be doing internships, “but how can he go out and find a company to work with him when he can’t exert himself? He’s so smart and now he’s side-lined. Doctors want my son to lie around for three to four months.”
As for Justin’s recovery, Harrington said, “He has minor scarring on his heart and doctors hope they caught it early enough that there will be no other issues — but it’s pure conjecture at this point.”
School’s mandate doesn’t allow exceptions for students who already had COVID
After Justin’s diagnosis, doctors recommended Harrington’s 19-year-old son, who received one dose of the Moderna vaccine, not get the second shot.
However, both sons were told they needed to get vaccinated in order to attend school — despite both previously having had COVID, Harrington said.
“Justin’s a rule follower and he was pressured to get it,” Harrington said.
Harrington said when he called the dean of NJIT prior to his son getting vaccinated and asked why the school is forcing young people who are at little risk of serious illness from COVID to get the vaccine, the dean replied that unless his son had a valid medical or religious exemption, it was a requirement.
“I am not ‘anti-vax,’” Harrington said. “I am ‘anti-forced-vaxxed.’ They’re forcing these kids to get a vaccine even though they’re not affected by COVID or have already had it.”
According to Justin, he reported his myocarditis to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS), but no one from the agency followed up.
Justin said he would “absolutely not” recommend anyone get vaccinated, as he does not want this to happen to any of his friends. “I’m not here to bash Moderna, but I wouldn’t take it,” he said.
Harrington said he also knows of a girl who had to have a heart transplant after being vaccinated and believes his son’s condition could have been even more severe if he hadn’t reached him in time.
According to WLWT 5 News, 19-year-old Simone Scott underwent a heart transplant one month after suffering a heart complication from her second dose of Moderna and subsequently passed away.

An 18-year-old from Springdale, Arkansas, who had a heart attack after receiving his second dose of Pfizer’s COVID vaccine said he’d rather get COVID than have a heart attack.
In an interview with The Defender, Isaiah Harris said he received his first dose of Pfizer on April 8 and second dose on April 30. Within 12 hours of the second dose, the teen developed a fever and chills. His father, Justin Harris, initially didn’t think much about it because he got sick after both doses of the Moderna vaccine, although his symptoms weren’t serious.
That wasn’t the case for Isaiah. Within 48 hours of the second dose, Isaiah’s heart started hurting “very very bad” and things started going downhill fast. Harris said they grew really concerned when their son started having trouble breathing.
The active Covid caseload has risen to 24, with 11 of these confirmed to be of the Delta variant There are now more cases of the more infectious Indian variant in Gibraltar than of any other strand.
The new cases reported on Friday have been identified as three visitors. One of them is a young unvaccinated visitor aged 10-15 years of age.
The vaccination status of the other two is unknown.

Update: June 22nd, this article has been revised as of 8:05 PM EST after the World Health Organization literally sanitized their website to erase any mention of a guidance that they issued on June 3rd (this is WHO’s archived page that contains the version they deleted) concerning the “vaccination” of children and adolescents for Covid-19. Up until an hour ago, WHO’s position was that children should not get “vaccinated” because, in their words, “there is not yet enough evidence on the use of vaccines against COVID-19 in children to make recommendations for children to be vaccinated against COVID-19”.*
12-15 year olds in Gibraltar will be offered the COVID-19 vaccine once this has been approved by the UK’s Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation.
Last month, the UK regulator MHRA approved the Pfizer jab for use on this demographic. The UK’s vaccine committee now needs to take a decision, but is yet to so.
On the Rock, the Government has confirmed it will follow suit, if the UK committee approves it.
Though there is not enough vaccine stock in Gibraltar to cater for the vaccination of 12-15 year olds, the Government has told GBC that the UK will supply the Rock with additional Pfzer vaccines, if approved by its vaccination committee.
At present, the UK is only offering jabs to 12-15 year olds with severe neuro-disabilities.
In Europe however, the rollout to 12 year-old's and over has begun, with 20 European countries, including Spain and France signing up to administer the vaccine to those in this age bracket. Further afield, the US has already given a first dose of the Pfizer to 30% of its 12-15 year old citizens. However, some are hesitant, Portugal, for example, has not given the shot vaccine to any youngsters.
Outbreaks of the virus have increased in educational settings in the UK over the last week. Here on the Rock, of the ten cases identified this week, two of them were in the 10-15 year old age range.
A decision from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation is expected imminently, however until then, no date can be set for the vaccine to be offered to this age group in Gibraltar.

The Minister for Equality, Samantha Sacramento, has spoken of her disappointment to see how a minority in the local community expressed anger towards the initiatives that were put into place to mark Pride Month on the Rock.
In response to the criticism, Ms Sacramento said that more awareness, education and work was needed to encourage greater acceptance of all members of the community.
“I find it incredible that people felt so strongly and were so offended,” she said.
“This demonstrated to us the need to have this trigger and this conversation.”
“It tells us that we have to reach out further and continue our education.”
Ms Sacramento also called for more respect towards people and their fundamental rights.
“In Gibraltar, everyone’s a Gibraltarian and everyone has rights and we have to be respectful of people’s rights.”
She added that the negative responses motivate her to work even harder towards inclusion for all.
Ms Sacramento told the Chronicle that talking is key in educating and creating awareness.
“That’s important, the fact that people are asking questions is part of the process, because this has to be a conversation, and education and awareness is about getting people talking,” she said.
In an attempt to continue creating awareness throughout the community, the pelican crossings displaying LGBTQ+ symbols have been continued for the foreseeable future.
An online survey for members of the LGBTQ+ community was also recently announced.
Ms Sacramento encouraged people to participate and voice their opinions and concerns.
“I want to hear from them, what their experiences are like, where they are throughout the different services that we provide, I want them to tell me what more I can do”, she said.
Ms Sacramento added that the support for Pride Month by most of the community was encouraging and that the Government continued to work towards creating awareness, building on a foundation of important legislative change over recent years.
“I am happy that Pride has been welcomed and embraced, the symbolism is very positive,” she said.
“I think this year really symbolises the journey we have been on and there has been so much work done that we forget it, but it’s all been the foundation blocks to have us where we are today”
“I think that this year it has been abundantly clear that, as a government, we are supportive of LGBTQ+ rights”, she added.
Nevertheless good to see there is at least some resistance to this promotion of clearly not gay people.
