Having a major highway run through farm fields with no trees to separate the farm fields from the highway is not a good idea obviously.

Multiple people were killed Monday morning in a crash on Interstate 55 in Montgomery County, south of Springfield, Illinois. One of the people killed in the crash was identified as 88-year-old Shirley Harper of Franklin, Wisconsin. The other five people have not been identified. Police said 37 people were transported to local hospitals with injuries.
