One important thing was forgotten in Russian news about Poland
Google Translation of an article in the Finnish newspaper Iltalehti
The Russian media forgot essential information from their stories.
Several Russian media outlets reported on Wednesday about the drones that fell in Poland. However, the reports from the widely circulated Gazeta and MK.ru , as well as the state-run Tass news agency , missed an essential detail.
The stories do not mention that the drones in question were Russian.
In its news, Gazeta quotes the Polish newspaper Polsat , which mentions the origin of the drone several times. In its own news, Gazeta only briefly refers to Russia, which only speaks in very general terms about Russia's alleged activities.
– Polish and allied military aircraft took to the air due to alleged activity by Russian forces in Ukraine, the story says.
According to the Polish Armed Forces, Russia carried out a large-scale drone attack on Ukraine on Wednesday night, during which some of the drones violated Polish airspace. The Polish Armed Forces shot down the drones and launched a military operation.
Tass, for its part, reported on comments by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk . The origin of the drones is not mentioned in the story. It was not mentioned in the message Tusk shared on X , but later Tusk specifically refers to Russia.
The subsequent Tass news, published at 10:47, also does not mention a word that the drones were Russian. Instead, the story says that Tusk considers the drones a “measured provocation” and that the activation of NATO’s Article 4 is being considered.
A later Gazeta article reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi accuses Russia of violating Polish airspace and demands that Russia “feel the consequences.” This article also fails to mention the very important information that the Polish armed forces also say the drones were Russian, although other background information is provided.
MK.ru also reports on Zelensky's comments, referring to them as a "bold statement."
Andrei Ordaš, the diplomat responsible for Russian relations with Poland, claims to the Russian state news agency RIA that Poland has not provided any evidence that the drones were Russian, Reuters reports.
– We consider the allegations to be baseless. No evidence has been presented that the drones are of Russian origin.
I wonder what exactly a map like this is. Or where the data is sourced.
They claim the drones came from over Belarus but it’s not like civilians or investigative journalists have radars at home and can check.
How many radars are watching in how many countries and how likely would someone expose trickery that they originated from Ukraine?
Looks like drones were duct taped, most likely crashed and re-purposed drones from Ukraine in a False Flag attack. Even Cybe’s original shots of drones show duct tape all over them, these aren’t simple FPV drones with an Artillery shell taped to them but Geran type drones, they arent held together with duct tape. Such an amateurish false flag attempt.
very interesting case...
Not really, was obvious from the outset.
