Psalm 50:15 And call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify Me.
Reason: God keeps His promises He hears the cries of the weary, the helpless. When feeling low and down trodden it helps to remember He delivers those who place their Trust and Faith in Him.

Every minute of every day we should all strive to not only hear but DO and KEEP God’s Word.
Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Yes, we should all pray for a clean heart and a right spirit - that should be our goal.
Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Nothing should get in the way of making the self do what is right.
Proverbs 15:4 A wholesome tongue [is] a tree of life: but perverseness therein [is] a breach in the spirit.
