Yes. The more I looked at it, the more it looks like a vulture and not an eagle. Notice how the vulture started picking at the bottom of the man's shoe. Vultures have a sense of smell for garbage like no other! Ha ha. Great video and amazing how it landed and stayed there.

Deut. 22:6 If a bird's nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, [whether they be] young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:
22:7 [But] thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and [that] thou mayest prolong [thy] days.

@GodTaughtMeHow,
Thank-you for the good Scripture.

God values us above his creatures and cares deeply about how we treat them, regardless of how small or insignificant they seem to mankind.
It's a shame how many humans purposefully kill insects, (selfishly for their comfort), the birds food.

Gen. 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in Our image, and teach him to be like Us: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Proverbs 27:23 Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, [and] look well to thy herds.

Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

Deut.25:4 Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out [the corn].

Luke 14:5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the Sabbath day?

Thank-you for sharing this heart warming story about Roselle (names mean something). The signs are all around us.

Speaking of animal heroes...

Cher Ami as she is displayed at the Smithsonian Museum. Photo: US Army Signal Corps

Cher Ami was a messaging pigeon serving in the Argonne Forest with the 77th Infantry Division when the battalion of 550 soldiers she was with was completely cut off by German forces. After four days of heavy fighting, friendly artillery decided the battalion must have surrendered already and began firing on the 77th.

Since the 77th just refused an offer to surrender and was very much still in the position, this was a problem. Maj. Charles Whittlesey ordered a message sent back to headquarters, but the group’s three pigeons were quickly shot down. Cher Ami, despite a hole in her chest and a nearly amputated leg, got back into the air and delivered her message. 194 soldiers made it out alive thanks to her actions.

Thank-you Persistent. Such a lovely story. I believe Cher Ami was a he. Cher is for masculine. Chere is the feminine. Agreed that "names mean something". Cher Ami means dear friend. :slightly_smiling_face:
