You wait for 40 minutes in the rain. This is the "smart border" of Gibraltar.

Alfredo Valencia, a resident of La Línea, an ecologist, and very active on social media, shared images on Wednesday of the queues that pedestrians had to endure on a rainy day when leaving Gibraltar.

"Today it was underwater. Over 40 minutes of queuing to exit the bottleneck of the so-called smart border," he lamented.

Valencia added, "I would like to talk to our government (without a mediator, we're not going to ask for that much either) and explain some things that have been happening since time immemorial, in black and white, so to speak. It's clear that only the poor guy gets wet," he points out.
