One of the main tools in DJing is adjusting the speed of a track to seamlessly mix them together. Otherwise it would sound like cacophony. It's usually changes of a few %. Some tracks, electronic music mainly, can sound great at both 45 RPM and 33 RPM and might even be designed for such flexibility.
