No matter how bad you think Covid policies were, they were intended to be worse.
Consider the vaccine passports alone. Six cities were locked down to include only the vaccinated in public indoor places. They were New York City, Boston, Chicago, New Orleans, Washington, D.C., and Seattle. The plan was to enforce this with a vaccine passport. It broke. Once the news leaked that the shot didn’t stop infection or transmission, the planners lost public support and the scheme collapsed.
It was undoubtedly planned to be permanent and nationwide if not worldwide. Instead, the scheme had to be dialed back.
Chap. 8. Punishment, compensation, appeal, entry into force and transitional provisions
Section 8-1. Punishment
With the exception of breach of duties according to § 5-1 or duties covered by the health personnel legislation, intentional or negligent breach of the law here or decisions made pursuant to the law are punishable by a fine or imprisonment for up to 2 years. If the violation results in loss of human life or significant damage to body or health, the penalty is a fine or imprisonment for up to 4 years.
