Drinking Tap Water Could Kill You (or Worse)

By Rhoda Wilson on January 23, 2024

There has been a flurry of articles on the internet, and in the mainstream press, sneering at people who drink bottled spring water, rather than tap water. These critics claim that bottled water is a waste of money.

Well, they’re all wrong.

The truth is that anyone who drinks water taken from the tap is endangering their health. Even boiling tap water doesn’t make it safe to drink. And, of course, the conspirators want us all to drink tap water (rather than bottled water) because they can put drugs into the tap water quite easily. Fluoride is already added to tap water (despite the dangers) and some conspirators want to add hormones (to stop women getting pregnant) and tranquillisers to drinking water. Tap water has been weaponised.

Water – The Abundant Scarcity

“Water, Water Everywhere and Not a Drop to Drink….”

image

These are the lines from “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner,” by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. The speaker, a sailor on a stranded ship, is surrounded by salt water that he cannot drink.

Water is like Peace – it is all around us, but we do not grasp it. We let it go to waste. We let it be polluted, privatized, made scarce so that it becomes a market product. Yet water is a public good. It belongs to everyone. It has been given to us by our generous Mother Earth. Water cannot be scarce, as the total amount of water within the realm of planet earth is always the same – it remains constant.

The chances for Peace are similar. They are in public domain. They are a moral good. Peace is free, no cost. Everybody can grasp it – and work on Peace. Dedicate himself to Peace. Fight for Peace. Pray for Peace. Meditate for Peace. Unlike water – peace cannot be privatized.

We must keep it that way, and make again Water like Peace – a public good, not to be privatized EVER!

On 28 July 2010, The United Nations General Assembly, through Resolution 64/292 , explicitly recognized the human right to water and sanitation and acknowledged that clean drinking water and sanitation are essential to the realization of all human rights.

Water’s availability may vary from location to location. But water’s huge quantity remains unchanged throughout the billions of years of our blue Planet’s life.

Water is Life. Peace is Life. Water and Peace are interdependent.

Understanding this connection is understanding why water is an abundant scarcity.

However, nothing can be taken for granted, even if it is believed to be secured by a UN Resolution. We, the People, must defend this right, we must nurture it so it becomes from a seed a right engrained into our collective consciousness.

Water in the Israel-Palestine Conflict

The Oslo Accords of 1993, sponsored by Norway, were to be a guiding path for Peace in the Middle East; for Peace between Israel and Palestine. They were designed to be the first step towards a two-state solution.

One of the major features of the Oslo Agreements was that even during the precursor of the two-state solution, each country, Palestine, and Israel had full and autonomous rights to their natural resources, which included water, a scarce commodity in the Middle East in general, and especially in the Palestine-Israel region.

However, the Oslo Accords went nowhere, since Israel never agreed to them. A major reason was that under the Accords Palestine was to be given sovereignty over their land and resources, including water.

Close to 80% of all the water in Palestine, now including Israel, is on Palestine territory, over or below grounds of the West Bank. Israel would never admit it, but they know it. Israeli settlements illegally imposed on the West Bank are not by coincidence almost always on or near a perennial Palestinian water source.

Palestine knows it but they have no voice in the West.

UPDATE: Water Curtailment Order lifted for East Idaho Farmers

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho – Groundwater irrigators and surface water irrigators have completed a deal that saves 330,000 acres of Idaho farmland from being dried up and averts economic catastrophe in the state.

A mitigation agreement for 2024, brokered by Governor Brad Little and Lt. Governor Scott Bedke, has now been signed by all parties and has been submitted to the Idaho Department of Water Resources (IDWR for approval. When the deal is approved, IDWR will lift the curtailment for all nine ground water districts whose patrons irrigate with groundwater from the ESPA.

“This is a huge relief to our members, who have had their livelihoods threatened over the past month,” said TJ Budge, attorney for Idaho Ground Water Appropriators. “We want to thank Governor Little, Lt. Governor Bedke, Senator Van Burtenshaw and, especially, all of our groundwater district members for their sincere and significant efforts to get a deal done before it was too late.”

Though this agreement allows farmers to continue growing crops in 2024, it does not fix the underlying issues with the way Idaho is managing the Eastern Snake Plain Aquifer (ESPA). Groundwater districts are putting considerable trust in the state to fulfill promises that a more pragmatic and effective management plan will be implemented before the next growing season.

“We have learned that the way the Idaho Department of Water Resources currently goes about managing the ESPA is not working,” said IGWA chairwoman Stephanie Mickelsen. “Without meaningful change to how water resources are managed over the coming months, we will find ourselves right back in this same position and all of Idaho will end up paying the price. We look forward to working with state leaders to chart a path that is in the best interest of the state moving forward.”

Ground water districts are committed to developing a ground water management plan that avoids massive water curtailments and protects farmers who have already planted crops for the season from sudden changes in their access to water.

The curtailment was ordered after IDWR projected a 74,100-acre-foot shortfall of surface water to the Twin Falls Canal Company, a senior water right holder in the Magic Valley. The new plan mitigates for that shortfall and continues the commitment of IGWA members to recharge the Eastern Snake River Plain Aquifer.

BREAKING NEWS: BILL GATES INVESTIGATED FOR IDAHO LAND GRAB

Transcript:
US funds appropriated to help fund the Ukraine war have somehow wound up in the hands of a mining company extracting cobalt in Idaho.
We’ll get to that but in case you missed it, something big happened recently in Idaho. And I mean really big. Yet another potential land grab with deep twisted roots that lead back to… yes you guessed it, Bill Gates.

Idaho Department of Water Resources issued a curtailment order May 30th that required 6,400 junior groundwater rights holders who pump off the Eastern Snake Plain Aquifer to completely shut off their water.

That order affected about 500,000 acres of agricultural land in eastern Idaho. The United states has killed 4.5 million chickens and thousands of cattle, and now they are even trying to destroy farms in Idaho by turning off their water at the start of summer. They have sold hundreds of thousands of Acres of farmland to china and hundreds of thousands of acres to bill gates. They literally are destroying our food supply right in front of us.

Idaho State Representative Stephanie Mickelsen said “You’re talking about wiping out family farms and other businesses across the ag sector,”“It’s basically a draconian way to bring about what they need.”

So, Is Bill Gates can stealing more land?

Bill Gates has purchased more farm land in Idaho and is the largest farm owner in the US next to Chinese investors. They say who controls the food controls the people. Let’s also note that Bill gates grows a ton of potatoes. The largest grower and competition to his product is Idaho potato farmers. “McDonald's french fries, carrots, onions: all of the foods that come from Bill Gates farmland”

People are outraged calling for an investigation into Bill Gates and what exactly he’s doing with the nearly 300,000 acres of American land he’s purchased

Perhaps you’ve already seen the rubbery fruit that been trending on social media lately.Let’s take a look at what his Apeel treatment is doing to the food folks are purchasing in grocery stores

“Bill Gates has done more damage to the world's health than probably any other individual."

So. Once again. Ukraine Aid is funding the water wars on the farmers in Idaho. Take a look

Let’s go back to 2022 when the mining in the exact same area was causing problems then as well. We’re going to read this article from ABC News with the headline “Idaho cobalt mining that devastated local water revisited with greener new approach”

“The Salmon-Challis National Forest covers 4.3 million acres of rolling mountains covered in trees, rivers, and wildlife living in the largest wilderness area in the United States.

Underneath the surface lies the Idaho Cobalt Belt, one of the country’s only large deposits of the critical mineral key to the lithium-ion batteries that power our phones, laptops, and increasingly our vehicles.”

“Cobalt mining abandoned this mountain range decades ago, after one mine caused devastating effects on the local environment and an entire town, a mountain range in Idaho is now seen as a key location in the country's move towards renewable energy sources.”

“Australian company Jervois is poised to restart mining in the Salmon-Challis National Forest. They’re looking for cobalt they mine to be used in rechargeable batteries in devices such as electric vehicles, power storage containers and other clean energy technology.”

“Matt Lengerich, the executive general manager for Jervois Mining Ltd, a company that is undertaking the project, told ABC News that the endeavor is important for the county's goal to reduce the use of fossil fuels.”

“"We're going to continue to see technology…advances, especially in batteries and in better battery chemistry that I have no doubt. But even with all of those advances, we're still going to need sustainably supplied cobalt," he told ABC News.”

“Matt Green, a project manager for Trout Unlimited, told ABC News that the (previous) mining was done without much oversight or federal environmental laws and that the metals left exposed by the mine’s open pit and underground tunnels left behind allowed toxic metals to flow into nearby rivers and streams.
“"They completely turned the stream upside down as the big machine went in there, turned the stream upside down [and] blocked the whole stream off to get those precious metals," he told ABC News. "And then what was left were just these big piles of rock that the water just randomly flowed through. It was very unnatural. No riparian, no trees.””

In the early 90s, the federal government shut down the Blackbird mining operation after it discovered the local water and ground supply was polluted.

In 1992, the Blackbird site became an EPA Superfund site and work has been done to restore the water and local grounds. Wood said environmentalists are still picking up the pieces left behind by Blackbird 30 years later.

Factory Farms Destroying U.S. Drinking Water, Health While EPA Fails to Take Action

According to the EPA’s own data, roughly 10,000 of the nation’s largest factory farms are illegally discharging dangerous pollution to waterways without the required federal permit.
