Pro-Palestine protesters marched through London on Saturday waving Iranian flags and chanting âstop bombing Iranâ. The Telegraph has more.
Large crowds gathered in Parliament Square waving Palestinian and Iranian flags, while also demanding an end to the bombing in Gaza.
Protesters urged the Government to halt all military support for Israel and lobby the country to de-escalate its actions in the Middle East.
It comes after Israel launched a series of air strikes against nuclear and military sites in Iran on Thursday night.
Tehran then struck back on Friday with missile attacks on Tel Aviv.
The Palestine Solidarity Campaign announced an emergency protest earlier in the week which it publicised on social media, titled: âEmergency Protest: Stop Bombing Iran â Stop Arming Israel.â
In a post on X, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign shared a video which showed a large crowd chanting outside the houses of Parliament.
A post read: âThousands in Parliament Square demanding our Government stop arming Israel and pressure it to stop bombing Iran and end its genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza.â
Protesters also held placards which read âdonât attack Iranâ amid other banners which read âstop arming Israelâ and âceasefire nowâ.
An Instagram caption from the group read: âAs it commits genocide against the Palestinians, Israel is now bombing Iran. Join us to demand our Government stop arming genocidal Israel.â
In case you had any remaining doubt about whose side they were on. Something about the idea of a nuclear-armed Iran must appeal to themâŚ

The flight, which departed Tel Avivâs Ben Gurion Airport at 11:22 a.m. local time and landed in Athens at 1:06 p.m., was first reported by investigative journalist Matt Kennard on the social media platform X.
The sudden movement of Netanyahuâs aircraft comes just hours after Israeli forces reportedly launched strikes against Iranian targets, a move likely to further inflame an already volatile regional standoff. While no official statement has been made by either the Israeli or Greek governments confirming Netanyahuâs presence on the flight, the aircraftâs status as Israelâs designated presidential jet has led to widespread speculation.
Kennard, co-founder of Declassified UK, a British investigative outlet, further raised the question of whether Greece is now providing shelter to a âwar crimes fugitiveââa reference to the International Criminal Court (ICC) proceedings against Netanyahu. The ICCâs chief prosecutor recently sought arrest warrants for Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders over alleged war crimes committed during the ongoing war in Gaza.
Israel has condemned the ICCâs actions, calling them politically motivated, while several Western nations have expressed mixed reactionsâsome backing the courtâs independence, others criticising its approach as unbalanced.
The Greek government has yet to comment on the arrival of the aircraft or Netanyahuâs potential presence in the country. If confirmed, the visit would mark a diplomatically sensitive moment, as EU member states are under increasing pressure to clarify their positions on international legal accountability and regional conflict.
The landing also raises questions about Greeceâs role in providing diplomatic support or safe harbour to a figure facing possible international legal action. It remains unclear whether the trip is official, personal, or part of a wider strategy amid the ongoing military and legal developments.
As of Friday evening, Israeli media had not confirmed the prime ministerâs location, and there was no immediate public agenda associated with the trip. https://greekcitytimes.com/2025/06/13/netanyahu-jet-athens/
