War with Iran

Jacques Baud Reveals ISRAEL'S STRUGGLE As IRAN And PALESTINIANS Unite

Col Doug Macgregor's BLUEPRINT: America Must Know

The Cost of War Is Real and Ongoing

  1. Soldiers and their families continue to suffer from past wars (Iraq, Afghanistan).

The deaths and trauma are often forgotten by the public and policymakers.

War shouldn't be treated as a casual or inevitable policy option.

  1. War with Iran Would Be Disastrous
Iran is not Iraq; it has 85 million people, rugged terrain, and alliances with Russia and China.

A U.S. strike would likely provoke Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz, spiking global oil prices and damaging the U.S. economy.

The risk of nuclear confrontation is real for the first time since the Cuban Missile Crisis.

  1. The Push for War Is Driven by Others' Agendas
Figures like Lindsey Graham, John Bolton, and Tom Cotton are accused of relentlessly pushing for war.

Israel is portrayed as a driving force behind calls for attacking Iran, with U.S. support being misused.

The U.S. military should not be a tool for foreign powers to settle their own scores.

  1. Diplomacy Is Still an Option
The U.S. can and should choose diplomacy over war.

Past agreements like the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA) effectively constrained Iran’s nuclear ambitions until they were abandoned.

The speaker calls for restraint, realism, and long-term thinking over short-sighted militarism.

  1. Moral and Constitutional Responsibility
America should uphold its Constitutional principles and only go to war when directly attacked.

Leaders have a duty to protect American lives, not risk them for foreign territorial disputes.

Conclusion:
The speaker urges Americans to reject unnecessary war, advocate for peace through strength and diplomacy, and stop letting vested interests manipulate foreign policy. The future depends on wise choices today — prioritizing American lives, values, and long-term stability over reckless interventionism. - D.D.

The long shadow war between Iran and Israel broke into the open this morning with the launch of Operation Rising Lion, targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities and high command. It’s a war that is only just beginning, says Jonathan Spyer in the Spectator. Here’s an excerpt.

With the launch of Operation ā€˜Rising Lion’ against Iranian nuclear and military facilities overnight, Israel appears to have sought to take advantage of a narrow window of opportunity. Through its own actions over the last 18 months, the Iranian regime brought itself to a moment of extreme vulnerability. Tehran found itself in an uncomfortable position in which it continued to seek to prosecute its long war against Israel – intended to result in the Jewish state’s demise – while at the same time finding itself shorn of many of the capacities for aggression and defence on which it had relied. Israel has just struck through this narrow window. Iranian retaliation appears certain. As such, the two countries are now in a state of open war.

The weakening of Iran in recent months has occurred on two directly related fronts. Firstly, Tehran has long relied on a system of proxies to conduct aggression against enemies and to deter said enemies from responding. The attack by the Tehran-aligned Hamas organisation against Israel on October 7th 2023 led to a partial and piecemeal mobilisation by Iranian proxies to assist Hamas as it faced Israel’s determined counter-attack in Gaza.

U.S. ATTACKS IRAN THROUGH ISRAEL, War Aimed at Destroying Multi-Polar World –Brian Berletic

President Trump is making it clear that the U.S. is fully involved in the unprecedented attacked carried out by Israel, which included strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and ballistic missile factories, and the assassinations of multiple top Iranian military commanders. Brian Berletic, a geopolitical analyst and Host of The New Atlas, noted that this is part of the U.S. war on the pillars of multi-polarity, and it is using Israel as a proxy to target Iran because of both its power in the Middle East and its proximity to Russia and China.
