The campaign 'This brown is worth it' arrives at the beaches of Tarifa, San Roque and La Línea
Concerns the implementation of the new brown container and its correct use, and the correct separation of all the waste generated in the homes of Campo de Gibraltar. It will raise awareness about the transformation of organic waste into compost.
During the month of July, the environmental awareness campaign "This brown is worth it", financed by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, will carry out activities on the beaches of Tarifa, San Roque and La Línea de la Concepción, with the aim of expanding the information offer developed since last February in relation to the implementation of the new brown container and its correct use.
Among the planned activities are actions such as the traditional children's storytelling, which is joined by other creative actions aimed at the knowledge of the biowaste container by younger citizens. In addition to these, the environmental workshop of maceto/orchard will be added, whose purpose will be to reinforce the importance of the correct separation of the organic fraction at source; various group dynamics aimed at the correct separation of all the waste generated in the homes of Campo de Gibraltar.
Together with them, the environmental educators will involve citizens in the environmental "Escape Box" game that, together with a self-composting workshop aimed at families, will raise awareness about the transformation of organic waste into compost.
The set of activities will take place between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. in the towns of Tarifa (July 17 in Playa Chica), San Roque (July 18 in Torreguadiaro and July 19 in Guadarranque) and in La Línea (July 10 in Santa Bárbara; July 23 in Playa de Levante and July 24 in Playa de Poniente).
I'm all for this education, because no matter where in the world people are not recycling correctly, organics or pastic or paper. For the renewal system to work people must do it correctly.
