Tender for €3.7 Million in Works at La Línea Bus Station to Be Launched Within a "Reasonable" Timeframe

The mayor of La Línea de la Concepción, Juan Franco, has referred today to the rehabilitation of the bus station as one of the projects that are about to see the light of day. It will have an investment of €3.7 million to carry out one of the "most emblematic and demanded" works by the citizens, as he stated.

"We want to have a bus station that serves as a benchmark in our city and gives visitors arriving in La Línea the best possible first impression, one that is pleasant and in line with the times," the mayor noted. He expects that "within a reasonable timeframe," the bidding process will open, allowing the city to "have the facilities it deserves."

Improving the efficiency and quality of the bus station has been one of the local government's goals since its management was reclaimed approximately a year and a half ago, currently overseen by the Municipal Land and Housing Company (Emusvil). Since then, repairs have been carried out, such as exterior paving and painting of the building, while awaiting the comprehensive renovation of the facilities as announced.
