It's too bad that they denigrate The Lord's miracles of raising Lazarus from the dead, and the feeding of the people fish and loaves, which The Lord did multiple times, to symbolic and allegorical, rather than literal.
Other than that The Lord showed us The Way to be.
Luke: 17:20 And when he was demanded of the politicians, when the Kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The Kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.

That presentation may be imperfect, but I thought it did a relatively good job at highlighting the gift of the Holy Spirit within and thereby one's communion with Father which is highly personalized and individually unique, i.e. Matthew 23:10.
