Marjorie Taylor Greene Announces Bill to Ban ‘So-Called Gender-Affirming Care’ for Kids, Calls Out Fellow Republicans

In light of the controversy over the ethics of “gender-affirming care” and things like puberty blockers, hormone treatments and gender assignment surgeries, Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia is introducing a new act that would make it a felony to be involved in “gender-affirming care.”

In an appearance on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Greene announced her upcoming bill and discussed what the Republican Party must do to stand up and protect children.

The Georgia representative has also been tweeting about her bill and the arguments for it that she discussed with Carlson.

“When it comes to “gender-affirming care,” which is really child abuse, this is actually an assault, and it’s child abuse. And this practice should never happen. It’s so disgusting and appalling, and it’s an embarrassment to our country,” Greene told Carlson.

She also called out the Republican Party and said that it is not a party worth supporting unless its members are ready to stand up and right wrongs — like “so-called gender-affirming care.”

Greene then went on to discuss how this “care” is not actually medical care at all, but performing procedures and treatment on children that will affect them for the rest of their lives.

“[It] is really just genital mutilation. It’s puberty blockers that cause chemical castration, teenage girls actually having their breasts chopped off, teenage boys being castrated. This needs to be illegal,” Greene said.

“I’m introducing a bill called ‘Protect Children’s Innocence Act,’ and it would create a law that would cause it to be a class C felony for any person involved in so-called ‘gender-affirming care.’ That means genital mutilation surgery, that means hormones, that means puberty blockers, anything involving any youth under the age of 18 because these kids are too young to make these awful decisions that will affect them and will be permanent for the rest of their lives,” the representative added.

Carlson agreed with her assessment of the situation and, likewise, condemned the practice of “gender-affirming care.”

“You cut the breasts off a little girl, you should go to prison, of course. You perform a medically unnecessary hysterectomy on a little girl, you should be in prison,” Carlson said.

Carlson then said that he assumed Greene would get every Republican vote for this new act.

“I should have every single Republican co-sponsor, but, unfortunately, I don’t yet. I only have five co-sponsors,” Greene said.

But she is urging all of her colleagues to join her because “this is a referendum on the Republican Party.”

If or when the Republicans take back the majority, Greene said that there is a lot of work to do.

She wants to see Attorney General Merrick Garland impeached, the FBI cleaned out and Democrats held accountable.

“But there’s one thing that we have got to do, and we are not even a party worth deserving of the American people’s votes, if we cannot protect children from this horrific child abuse and create this to be a felony,” Greene said.

Greene has also been tweeting about her bill and calling on all Republicans to take responsibility and stand up for minors in this.

“It’s every Republicans responsibility to protect children from child abusers who want to chemically and/or surgically mutilate children before they have even had the chance to grow up and realize the decisions they are making. This is a line in the sand & list are being kept,” Greene tweeted.

Greene has even interacted on Twitter with some who have experienced puberty blockers and “gender-affirming” surgeries themselves.

One Twitter user, Chloe Cole, tweeted at Greene about her own experiences and how Greene’s new bill to protect children is a step in the right direction.

“An exciting step forward for the protection of children! ‘Gender-affirming care’ destroyed my body. I was put on blockers and T at 13 and got a double mastectomy at 15. It wrecked my teenage life and stunted me for years. No child has a solid grasp on their ‘identity,'” Cole tweeted.

Carlson also strongly agreed with Greene’s efforts to reverse the ideas of “gender-affirming care” for children and even preemptively called out all Republicans who might not be willing to stand up for this.

“You can’t sexually mutilate children. Sorry. And I hope you will send us a list of every Republican who is too cowardly to affirm the obvious,” Carlson said. “Once again, you can’t sexually mutilate children. Period.”

It is certainly good to hear that the Tavistock’s gender tinkering clinic that specialises, apparently, in harming children on the pretext of “helping” them is facing some sort of comeuppance – although we fully expect the establishment to close ranks and shield its subversive operatives. In our view bringing criminal charges against all those involved in causing grievous bodily harm to children (including the parents in many cases) would be more appropriate.

It has not escaped our notice, however, that the “gender butchery” clinic, the sharp end of the psychological war on family and humanity, is itself an arm of the infamous Tavistock Institute.

Briefly, the Tavistock Institute in WW2, under army psychiatrist Brigadier JR Rees was the British psychological warfare centre, the counterpart to the German psychological warfare effort under Goebbels and arguably better at it than the Germans.

After the war, the Tavistock turned its considerable psyop skills and experience to service of western governments and their psychological war against their own people.

Follow this link to a history of the Tavistock but as you read it, bear in mind the history given is the sanitised PR version. One has to understand the history of psychiatry itself and, behind the medical facade, its basic purpose as a control cult for the powers-that-be. This is exposed in many places including The Citizens Commission Human Rights (CCHR) UK and International.

CCHR has spent over half a century investigating, documenting and exposing psychiatric abuses and its many articles and publications provide a thorough but hair-raising education into psychiatry’s role in the depraving of our culture.

It comes as no surprise then that the Tavistock gender butchery operation is a part of the Tavistock Intitute’s broader psychological warfare operations against the soul of the nation.

Tavistock To Be Sued By 1,000 Families

The Tavistock gender clinic is facing mass legal action from youngsters who claim they were rushed into taking life-altering puberty blockers. The Times has more.

Lawyers expect about 1,000 families to join a medical negligence lawsuit alleging vulnerable children have been misdiagnosed and placed on a damaging medical pathway.

They are accusing the gender identity development service [GIDS] at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust of multiple failures in its duty of care.

This includes allegations it recklessly prescribed puberty blockers with harmful side effects and adopted an “unquestioning, affirmative approach” to children identifying as transgender.

Last month NHS England announced it was shutting the Tavistock clinic over safety concerns following a damning external review. Care will be handed to regional children’s hospitals.

The law firm Pogust Goodhead has since announced it is pursuing a group litigation order against the trust, which has treated 19,000 children with gender dysphoria (the feeling that one’s emotional and psychological identity differs from one’s birth sex) since 1989.

Former patients given puberty blockers are joining the “class action” lawsuit and papers are due to be lodged at the High Court within six months.

Tom Goodhead, chief executive of Pogust Goodhead, told the Times: “Children and young adolescents were rushed into treatment without the appropriate therapy and involvement of the right clinicians, meaning that they were misdiagnosed and started on a treatment pathway that was not right for them.

“These children have suffered life-changing and, in some cases, irreversible effects of the treatment they received… We anticipate that at least 1,000 clients will join this action.”

Even though I wrote the above headline, even I shake my head in disgust when I read it. Mastectomies performed on children have increased by 389 percent over the last five years, while the overall number of so-called “transgender” children has doubled. So how and why is this abhorrent trend exploding?

“This is not an accident,” says Tulsi Gabbard, and she’s naming names of those she says are responsible.

On a recent edition of her podcast, the former Hawaii Democrat talked about the staggering rise in the number of young girls having double mastectomies, citing a research paper published by a prominent medical journal detailing the spike, and the results of a UCLA study showing the overall number of “trans” kids has doubled over the last five years, as well. Those numbers are as troubling as they are staggering.

According to a research paper that was recently published in the Journal of the American Medical Association of Pediatrics, there has been a 389 percent increase in children receiving mastectomies from 2016 through 2019.

I wanna say that again: children receiving mastectomies. The UCLA School of Law, Williams Institute, published a study that found the number of transgender youth has doubled in just the past five years.

I’m not sure which is worse: that this happening at all, or the number of adults who promote it.

Again, who should we blame, according to Gabbard?

This didn’t just happen. This is very intentional and it’s the consequence of this radical agenda that is being pushed on our kids. They’re rejecting the existence of objective reality by rejecting this most fundamental truth of the differences between a biological male and female.

Now, even as there are no long-term studies on the effects of these dangerous treatments on our kids, those in power in government and so-called medical professionals continue to push them.

“Many of the standard protocols that they are pushing include puberty blockers, and hormones,” the former Democrat noted, “some of which were just recently flagged by the FDA because of their plausible link to serious brain disorder, cognitive problems.” She then took a direct shot at Joe Biden:

Now that hasn’t stopped President Biden from going and telling parents that quote, ‘Affirming your child’s identity is one of the most powerful things you can do to keep them safe.’

Let’s go straight to the horse’s a mouth as he mumbles through the following, shall we?

To everyone celebrating Transgender Day of Visibility, I want you to know that your president sees you. … our entire administration sees you for who you are, made in the image of God and deserving of dignity, respect, and support.

But we know it’s hard when there are those out there who don’t see you and don’t respect you.

For example, the onslaught of anti-transgender state laws attacking you and your families is simply wrong. This administration is standing up for you against all these hateful bills.

Uh-huh — and that’s not all.

A White House press release at the time even worked in “systemic,” one of the Democrats’ favorite buzzwords:

Every American deserves the freedom to be themselves. But far too many transgender Americans still face systemic barriers, discrimination, and acts of violence.

This mind-numbingly repetitive nonsense would be systemically boring as hell if it wasn’t so horrific.

Incidentally, as I reported in late October, the National Health Service in the U.K. warned doctors that even social transitioning, such as changing a child’s name and pronouns or the way he or she dresses is not a “neutral act” and could have “significant effects” in terms of “psychological functioning.”

And in the U.S., nearly 80 percent of voters oppose so-called gender-reaffirming surgery for minors. The question is, why do Joe Biden and Democrat Party continue to refuse to listen?

Largest US Children’s Hospital BANS Transgender Procedures: “It’s Sickening Abuse”

The largest children’s hospital in the United States has banned transgender medical procedures for kids, warning that child sex change surgery is abuse.

According to Texas Children’s Hospital CEO Mark Wallace, the hospital intends to fully comply with Senate Bill 14, which bans treatments for gender transitioning, gender reassignment, or gender dysphoria.

Theepochtimes.com reports: Such procedures include those that sterilize children, such as castration, vasectomy, hysterectomy, and vaginoplasty, as well as drugs that induce temporary or permanent infertility, or block or delay normal puberty.
In a memo to staff shared on Twitter, Wallace said the bill has “clear and direct programmatic implications for our patients, families, faculty, staff, and care teams” adding that over the next few months, the hospital will “modify” its “gender-affirming care to comply with the new law.”

The CEO said the hospital will work with patients and their families to find alternatives for gender surgeries and hormone therapies out-of-state, and will “continue to offer psychological support and any form of care within the bounds of the law.”

“The transition we will embark on is going to be immensely heart-wrenching, but we will lead through this adversity and navigate these next steps together with grace, love, and compassion like we always do,” Wallace said.

‘Painful’ Decision

Wallace noted that as the largest pediatric health care provider in the nation, “being unable to serve and support these children and families the way we have in the past is painful.”

“It is difficult for me, the In-Chiefs & Chairs, executives, faculty, staff, and care teams to know that this is where we find ourselves,” he continued.

The Epoch Times could not verify the authenticity of the memo and has contacted Texas Children’s Hospital for further comment.

In a statement to Houston Public Media, a hospital spokesperson said the hospital is not canceling any current appointments.

The memo from Wallace comes just days after Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced an investigation into Texas Children’s Hospital over claims that it provided gender transition-related care to minors, despite stating last year that it would stop. Abbott previously issued an order asking state agencies to investigate gender-affirming care as child abuse.

“I’ve been clear that any ‘gender transitioning’ procedures that hurt our children constitute child abuse under Texas law,” Paxton said in a statement released May 19.

Whistleblower Claims

The attorney general noted that recent reports indicate that the hospital “may be unlawfully performing such procedures” and that his office is working to “uncover the truth.”

A whistleblower claimed the hospital continued to secretly perform transgender medical interventions on minors despite the announcement last year, including one procedure on an 11-year-old girl just three days after its announcement.

“I am committed to investigating any entity in our state to ensure that our children are protected. Though many unhinged activists compromising the healthcare field think otherwise, children are not to be treated as science experiments. Doctors and hospitals should not be pushing mutilative and irreversible ‘gender transitioning’ procedures that will negatively impact innocent children for the rest of their lives,” Paxton said.

Paxton is also investigating Dell Children’s Medical Center over “unlawful behavior” related to gender transitioning procedures.

Senate Bill 14 includes exemptions such as in cases where treatments are needed for the purpose of normalizing puberty for a minor experiencing precocious puberty, or if a child was born with a medically verifiable genetic disorder of sex development, among others.

Republicans have argued that the legislation is needed to protect children from making potentially fatal life-altering decisions and have pointed out that there is no high-quality scientific evidence suggesting that “gender-affirming” procedures help children overcome gender dysphoria.

Elon Musk Personally Elevates Transphobic Video Originally Flagged as Hate Speech

“Every parent should watch this,” said the man disowned by his trans daughter.

“Every parent should watch this.” This is what Elon Musk—one of the world’s most powerful elites—said about The Daily Wire’s transphobic documentary What Is a Woman? hosted by the vicious and intellectually dull Matt Walsh.

Musk’s personal promotion of the video follows his total capitulation to the far-right media company’s personal complaints of being suppressed. On Thursday, Daily Wire co-founder and co-CEO Jeremy Boreing posted a Twitter thread explaining that Twitter reneged on a commitment to buy a package to host the showing of the entire 90-some-minute movie on a “dedicated event page and to promote the event to every Twitter user over the first 10 hours” (something that has never been done in such a way for any kind of content).

According to Boreing, after Twitter reviewed the film, they said they would not purchase the package and would limit the reach of the film, calling it “hateful conduct” due to misgendering. Twitter had removed “misgendering” from its safety policies, but the company told The Daily Wire they still consider it to be abuse and harassment.

After Boreing and company personally appealed to Musk, however, the tide turned.

“This was a mistake,” Musk said on Twitter. “Whether or not you agree with using someone’s preferred pronouns, not doing so is at most rude and certainly breaks no laws.” Musk went on to say he personally uses someone’s preferred pronouns, just as he would someone’s preferred names, for the sake of “good manners.”

“However,” he continued, “for the same reason, I object to rude behavior, ostracism or threats of violence if the wrong pronoun or name is used.”

Afterward, the prospects for What Is a Woman?’s exclusive treatment crystallized. “Commenting & deliberate sharing will be allowed. Sensitive content just won’t be pushed to people unless they ask for it or a friend sends it to them,” Musk said Thursday night, explaining that the post would not be recommended to people who don’t follow The Daily Wire, nor would any advertising be associated with it.

Of course, this whole seemingly compromising, “measured” response blew up by Musk’s own hand, when he told his 141.8 million followers that “every parent should watch” the documentary. Which is to say, the content would be pushed to anyone who follows Musk or even follows someone who follows him, even if they did not ask for it—explicitly contradicting Musk’s own statement (setting aside the irony of Musk giving any parenting advice, given his own transgender daughter disowned him as a father after she turned 18).

What’s more, though, is that the contradiction certainly did not seem accidental.

“The Streisand Effect on this will set an all-time record!” Musk tweeted in response to a user encouraging people to watch the movie.

“The controversy will drive viewership,” Musk assured Boreing after The Daily Wire’s head complained about the “terrible day.”

Walsh, for his part, called the final outcome of “Elon Musk himself tweeting out the film and urging people to watch it” a “huge win.”

Again, Musk’s decision-making did not have all interests in mind. Also on Thursday, Musk tweeted that gender-affirming care “is a major problem” and that he will “be actively lobbying to criminalize” such care for people under the age of 18.

The episode comes after Musk has been quick to heed requests from Turkey and India to suppress free speech; the common denominator being a complete lack of principle or standards and a pathetic subservience to power interests on the far right. Musk, who often pretends to be a moderate, is neither, in his politics nor in his role as Twitter CEO.

Again, even if Musk was some universal free-speech maximalist, he wouldn’t have to personally promote videos that only happen to punch down against transgender people. He could, for instance, be promoting content that confronts the corruption of fossil fuel or weapon companies, or Big Pharma, or Israel’s treatment of Palestine. Instead, it just coincidentally happens that the “free speech” Musk advocates for is often language that attacks already marginalized people, and seldom challenges corporate interests that harm all of us.

Funny too Musk, again, one of the world’s biggest elites, thinks he is speaking truth to power. Fellow delusionally self-proclaimed moderate Tim Pool proclaimed Friday that “Elon is facing the reality of going up against the world’s political powers.”

“I am on team humanity,” Musk responded simply.
