Payment platform Orbital granted two licences by FSC after lengthy application process (basically stable-coins)

The payment platform Orbital has been granted two licences by the Financial Services Commission after a lengthy application process.

Orbital now has permission to operate as a provider of Distributed Ledger Technology and as an Electronic Money Issuer, the first entity to receive both licenses in Gibraltar.

It’s also the first company in a year and a half to receive a DLT license from the FSC.
