US President-elect Donald Trump has appointed New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, as an ambassador to the United Nations.
Known for her unwavering support of Trump, Stefanik has recently become a high-profile advocate of campus antisemitism in American colleges, which played a role in recent university resignations.
She underscored her commitment to Israel in a speech at the Knesset, emphasising unconditional US support. Stefanik, who presented an award to House Speaker Mike Johnson at a pro-Israel event, has also stated she would not have certified the 2020 election results.
