Media Misinformation About Russia and Ukraine

The EU blocks Russian-based media RT News and Sputnik for disinformation – "We will ban the Kremlin’s media machine in the EU. The state-owned Russia Today and Sputnik, and their subsidiaries, will no longer be able to spread their lies to justify Putin’s war," European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced.

Yet, here's THE LIES coming out of the west – Crisis Actors

Thank you for the update.

Propaganda happens on both sides.

But we should be aware that fake news about Ukraine is happening.

This video linked above shows makeup being put on actors that were featured on UK headlines - this one:

Video-game footage is being used by MSM. They can say they were misguided but is that real journalism or just a more propaganda. BBC apologized for its mistake in the BBC video above. And in this video below, we see a German news outlet (DW) talking about fake images, but how media can also be duped. Are they duped? Or do they just say they are when they are caught?

If this CNNUkraine twitter brought attention to the fact there they are really using fake images and footages, then so be it.

@deleted, you are good at video analysis and finding things like this. Can you find videos that are actually revealing how fake images/footage are being used to create a false narrative. Those would be very helpful, please.

The West MSM are deception experts. Crisis actors have been used for along time - from Sandy Hook to the plandemic.

Putin announced a precision military operation. He said they would be taking out military targets.

Then, we have news he is bombing cities – and how easy would it be for insiders to bomb their own and make it look like Russia? Easy. False Flags – Kiev Regime Turns on Ukrainian People as False Flag Warfare Rages Forward

Here's an article about how Donbas suffered for the past 8 years under NATO

And there are reports that Russia is taking out Western-backed Bioweapon labs

And how can The West use all this to portray Russia in a false light, so that they can get people behind the idea to "stop Russia" and start a hot war where millions are going to die?

Some insight into howto most Russian citizens view the situation:-

Along with several other Russian-speaking academics outside of Russia, I have been emailing thousands (yes, thousands!) academics in Russia urging them to take action to oppose the war. My letter to them can be found here (scroll down for an English translation). Most of the emails get no replies, but the replies I have gotten have made me truly appreciate how polarized the Russian population is. It’s one thing to imagine a Russian store clerk believing in the story of genocide, it’s another to hear an academic who has published in English-language journals profess such views. Propaganda does not necessarily discriminate.

Today, I received a reply that, based on other replies, captures the situation among Russian academics quite well, both the good and the ugly. With the academic’s permission, I am publishing the reply almost word-for-word (by request, I removed some small details so the academic cannot be identified). The English translation comes first (original Russian below). I also added a few links and notes for clarity.

English translation

“I want to assure you that I am very upset by what’s going on. I recently had a political discussion at work and learned the positions of some of my colleagues. Slightly less than half (me included) share your view, a few others (one of whom has relatives in Donetsk) think that Ukraine didn’t carry out the Minsk agreement and was shelling Donbas, as a result of which Ukraine provoked Putin to start all this and to end nationalism and genocide of residents of that region (they are still against military intervention, but think they would have started sooner or later regardless). One colleague thinks that, like Kosovo, Crimea was annexed legitimately (the region decided for itself) and DPR and LPR should follow its example, and a military operation will be helpful. And a few colleagues have communist viewpoints and think that Russians in Ukraine were being oppressed, that Ukraine wanted to be a threat to Russia and place weapons aimed at the Russian Federation in the East of the country (including in Crimea). They think that, sooner or later, Ukraine, together with Western countries, would have started an aggression against Russia and so in their view the destruction of the Russian economy because of this war is better than the destruction of Russia itself if it were to take no action with respect to Crimea and Donbas. And so they are expecting that Russia will gain control of Ukraine as a result of what’s going on now, after which it will install a puppet government or even try to annex the country or part of it.

I feel very uncomfortable that I am telling you other people’s personal views, and I ask you not to refer directly to what I said, but I hope that this somehow helps us understand the situation. Here is also my view as to why the Russian people are not protesting en masse:

  1. Negative influence of the USSR: beginning with the immigration after 1917 and Stalinist purges and ending with the destruction of the will to live freely to the falling apart of the country. People didn’t live normally and so don’t want to live normally now, those who protest are mostly very young.
  2. A non-trivial share of the people are idiots. They can’t or, for many reasons, don’t want to absorb non-one-sided information and just want to be “outside of politics”. And the most accessible information is, sadly, propaganda.
  3. Propaganda is literally EVERYWHERE. On TV it reaches absurd proportions, and besides that special bot farms write a huge number of online comments, forming a false public opinion and swaying those who are uncertain to their side.
  4. A huge army of siloviki (strongmen). Ukraine’s Maidan could happen because resistance [against the protestors] was not comparable to that of Russia and Belorussia. The Russian government has a huge horde of policemen and Rosgvardiya [National Guard of Russia] who get paid decent money just for brutally beating people who simply show up to a demonstration (and actually get pleasure out of doing so because they are idealistic and see enemies in those who show up). Then they imprison the people for 30 days and then create problems for them in their studies or work. And any resistance leads to a huge prison sentence. I’m not even mentioning, that people can be jailed for several years for tweets or social media posts (this is not an exaggeration!)

I hope this helps you understand the situation. I apologize for any colleagues and countrymen who may be responding to your email negatively.

PS I ask you to not group the nation of Russia together with Putin and his followers, but of course I understand all the aggression and hate toward us, those who act this way have their reasons…”

The Man Who Sold Ukraine by MIKE WHITNEY • MARCH 4, 2022

Volodymyr Zelensky is the current President of Ukraine. He was elected in a landslide victory in 2019 on the promise of easing tensions with Russia and resolving the crisis in the breakaway republics in east Ukraine. He has made no attempt to keep his word on either issue. Instead, he has greatly exacerbated Ukraine’s internal crisis while relentlessly provoking Russia. Zelensky has had numerous opportunities to smooth things over with Moscow and prevent the outbreak of hostilities. Instead, he has consistently made matters worse by blindly following Washington’s directives.

Zelensky has been lionized in the west and praised for his personal bravery. But—as a practical matter—he has failed to restore national unity or implement the crucial peace accord that is the only path to reconciliation. The Ukrainian president doesn’t like the so-called Minsk Protocol and has refused to meet its basic requirements. As a result, the ethnically-charged, fratricidal war that has engulfed Ukraine for the last 8 years, continues to this day with no end in sight. President Vladimir Putin referred to Zelensky’s obstinance in a recent speech delivered at the Kremlin. He said:

“At yesterday’s event… the Ukrainian leadership publicly declared that they were not going to abide by these agreements. Not going to abide by them. Well, what else can you say about that?” (Vladimir Putin)

Most Americans fail to realize that Zelensky’s rejection of Minsk was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Russian officials had worked for 8 years on Minsk hammering out terms that would be agreeable to all parties. Then—at the eleventh hour—Zelensky put the kibosh on the deal with a wave of the hand. Why? Who told Zelensky to scrap the agreement? Washington?

Of course.

And why did Zelensky deploy 60,000 combat troops to the area just beyond the Line of Contact (in east Ukraine) where they could lob mortal shells into the towns and villages of the ethnic Russians who lived there? Clearly, the message this sent to the people was that an invasion was imminent and that they should either flee their homes immediately or take shelter in their cellars. What objective did Zelensky hope to achieve by forcing these people to huddle in their homes in fear for their lives? And what message did he intend to send to Moscow whose leaders looked on at these developments in absolute horror?

Did he know his actions would set off alarms in Russia forcing Putin to call up his military and prepare them for a possible invasion to protect his people from– what looked to be– a massive ethnic cleansing operation?

He did.

So, how are these actions consistent with Zelensky’s campaign promises to restore national unity and peacefully resolve Ukraine’s issues with Russia?

They’re not consistent at all, they are polar opposites. In fact, Zelenskyy appears to be operating off a different script altogether. Take, for example, his complete unwillingness to address Russia’s minimal security concerns. Did Zelensky know that Putin had repeatedly said that Ukraine’s membership in NATO was a “red line” for Russia? Did he know that Putin has been saying the same thing over-and-over again since 2014? Did he know that Putin warned that if Ukraine took steps to join NATO, Russia would be forced to take “military-technical” measures to ensure their own security? Does Zelensky know that NATO is Washington-controlled Alliance that has engaged in numerous acts of aggression against other sovereign states. Here’s a short list of NATO’s accomplishments:

  1. The destruction of Yugoslavia
  2. The destruction of Afghanistan
  3. The destruction of Libya
  4. The destruction of Iraq
  5. The destruction of Syria

Does Zelensky know that NATO is openly hostile to Russia and regards Russia a serious threat to its expansionist ambitions?

Yes, he knows all these things. Still, he publicly expressed his interest in developing nuclear weapons. What is that all about? Imagine the problem that would pose for Russia. Imagine if a US-backed puppet, like Zelensky, had nuclear missiles at his fingertips. How do you think that might impact Russia’s security? Do you think Putin could ignore a development like that and still fulfill his duty to protect the Russian people?

And why did Zelenskyy agree to allow shipment after shipment of lethal weaponry to be delivered to Ukraine if he sincerely sought peace with Russia? Did he think that Putin was too stupid to see what was going on right beneath his nose? Did he think he was normalizing relations by expanding his arsenal, threatening his own people, and jumping through whatever hoops Washington set out for him?

Or did he think that Putin’s requests for security assurances were unreasonable? Is that it? Did he think– that if the shoe was on the other foot– the US would allow Mexico to put military bases, artillery pieces and missile sites along America’s southern border? Is there any president in American history who wouldn’t have done the same thing that Putin did? Is there any president in American history who wouldn’t have launched a preemptive strike on those Mexican weapons and vaporized every living thing for a 20-mile radius?

No, Putin’s demands were entirely reasonable, but Zelenskyy shrugged them off anyway. Why?

Does Zelenskyy know that there are Right Sektor, neo-Nazis in the government, military and Security Services. Does he know that, while their numbers are small, they are a force to be reckoned with and factor heavily in the hatred and persecution of ethnic Russians? Does he know that these far-right elements participate in torchlight parades, imprint swastikas or SS tattoos on their arms, and revere the racialist ideology of Adolph Hitler? Does he realize that many these Nazis have engaged in criminal acts of brutality including the incinerating of 40 civilians at the Trade Union Building in Odessa in 2014? Does he think that the CIA’s covert programs to arm and train these right-wing militants builds confidence or does he think it reminds Moscow of a catastrophic war in which 27 million Russians were exterminated by Germany’s Wehrmacht?

Can you see how everything Zelensky has done, was done with the intention of provoking Russia?

All the talk of joining NATO, all the talk about building nukes, the steady buildup of lethal weaponry, the movement of troops to the east, the refusal to implement the Minsk Treaty and the rejection of Putin’s security demands. All of these were deliberate provocations. But, why? Why “bait the bear”; that’s the question?

Because Washington wants to lure Russia into a war so it can further demonize Putin, isolate Russia, launch a counterinsurgency operation against the Russian army, and impose harsh economic sanctions that will inflict maximum damage on the Russian economy. That’s Washington’s strategy in a nutshell, and Zelenskyy is helping Washington achieve its objectives. He’s allowing himself to be Washington’s tool. He is sacrificing his own country to advance the interests of the United States.

All this helps to underscore a point that is never considered by the media and never discussed by the pundits on cable news, that is, that Ukraine is going to lose the war, and Zelenskyy knows it. He knows the Ukrainian Armed Forces are no match for the Russian army. It is like a Giant swatting a fly. Ukraine is the fly. The public needs to hear this, but they’re not hearing it. Instead, they’re hearing blabber about heroic Ukrainians fighting the Russian invader. But this is nonsense, dangerous nonsense that is emboldening people to sacrifice their lives for a lost cause. The outcome of this conflict has never been in doubt: Ukraine is going to lose. That is certain. And, if you read between the lines, you’ll see that Russia is winning the war quite handily; they are crushing the Ukrainian army at every turn, and they will continue to crush them until Ukraine surrenders. Check out this brief interview with Colonel Douglas MacGregor on Tucker Carlson and you’ll understand what’s really going on:

Tucker: “Where is the war as of tonight”? (March 1)

Colonel McGregor: “Well, the first 5 days, we saw a very slow methodical movement of Russian forces entering Ukraine…. They moved slowly and cautiously and tried to reduce casualties among the civilian population, trying to give the Ukrainian forces the opportunity to surrender. That is over. And the phase in which we find ourselves now, Russian forces have maneuvered to encircle and surround the remaining Ukrainian forces and destroy them through a series of massive rocket artillery strikes, air strikes with Russian armor slowly-but-surely closing the distance and annihilating what’s left. So, this is the beginning of the end of the Ukrainian resistance.

Tucker: What is Putin’s goal here?”

Colonel McGregor: “Putin set out to honor his word from 2007 at the Munich Security Conference where he said ‘We will not allow the expansion of NATO to a point where NATO is touching our border, specifically, Ukraine and Georgia. We see these as Trojan Horses for NATO’s military power and US influence... He repeated that (warning) over and over and over again, in the hopes that he could avoid taking action to effectively clean-out eastern Ukraine of any opposition forces whatever, and to put his forces in a position vis-a-vis NATO to deter us from any further attempts to influence or change Ukraine into a platform for the projection of US and western power into Russia.

Now his goal–as of today– is to seize this whole area of eastern Ukraine (east of the Dneiper River) and he has has crossed the river where he is preparing to go in and capture that city (of Kiev) entirely.

At that point, Putin has to decide what else he wants to do. I don’t think he wants to go any further west. But he would like to know that whatever emerges from this as Ukraine… is “neutral” not-aligned and, preferably, friendly to Moscow. That he will accept. Anything short of that, and his war has been a waste of time.”(“Colonel Douglas MacGregor with Tucker Carlson”, Rumble)

Video Link

What can we deduce from this short interview:

  1. Russia will prevail and Ukraine will lose.
  2. Ukraine is going to be partitioned. Putin is going to create the buffer he needs to assure his country’s security.
  3. Whoever governs the western part of Ukraine will be required to declare their “neutrality” (in writing) and reject any offers for NATO membership. If they violate that promise, they will be removed by force.

But here’s the important thing: All of the main actors in this fiasco knew from the very beginning that Ukraine had no chance of defeating the Russian army. That was a foregone conclusion. So–what we want to know– is why Zelenskyy didn’t take steps to avoid the tragedy before it unfolded?

The answer to this question helps to reveal ‘who Zelenskyy really is’.

Ask yourself this: Why didn’t Zelenskyy negotiate with Putin when he had the chance? Why didn’t he pull back his 60,000 troops from the east? Why didn’t he stop Washington’s weapons shipments? Why didn’t he implement the Minsk Treaty? Why didn’t he reject NATO’s offer for membership?

Finally, why was so intent on doing the things that he knew would anger Moscow and increase the likelihood of a war?

These questions are not hard to answer.

Zelenskyy has been acting on orders from Washington from the get-go. We know that. He’s also been implementing Washington’s agenda not his own and certainly not Ukraine’s. We know that, too. But that does not absolve him from responsibility. After all, he is a full-grown adult capable of distinguishing between right from wrong. He knows what he’s doing, and he knows that it’s wrong; worse than wrong, it’s inexcusable. He’s sending men to die in a war he knows they can’t win; he’s inflicting incalculable suffering and injury on his own people for no reason at all; and –worst of all– he’s cleared the way for the dissolution of Ukraine itself, the country he was sworn to defend. That country is going to be broken into bits as part of a final settlement with Russia, and Zelenskyy will share a good part of the blame.

How does a man like this live with himself?

No wonder he has fled the country.

The Rise of Zelensky from Comedian to President of Ukraine – Buckle Up

BY [RHODA WILSON]

How did Volodymyr Zelensky rise from a comedian acting as President in a TV show to becoming the President of Ukraine? Who is behind his rise? These are legitimate questions particularly when Zelensky became a household name in the US for the key role he played in the first impeachment of President Trump, which was also attached to the Trump-Russia hoax and the discredited Steele Dossier.

Zelensky the Comedian

Zelensky first became known as an actor and comedian, then created a production company, Kvartal 95 founded in 1997, which, among others, produced a TV show called Servant of the People, in which Zelensky acted as the President of Ukraine.

Beginning October 2015, the show ran for 3.5 years and is apparently immensely popular, regardless of the quality of the show. “I get the distinct impression it was astroturfed,” tweeted Aristophanes. Astroturfing is when an impression of widespread grassroots support is created where little support exists.

The Servant of the People aired on the 1+1 TV channel which has the second largest geographic reach of any channel in Ukraine and of which 70 percent is owned by Ihor Kolomoyskyi, who is also the founder of Privatbank.

Kolomoyskyi the Corrupt

Ihor Kolomoyskyi was ranked, two years ago by Forbes, as the 1941st richest person in the world. He was a close ally of Ukraine’s former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and former President, and central banker, Victor Yushchenko. Although according to RIA Novosti, the relationship with Tymoshenko took an ugly turn when Kolomoisky refused to finance her election campaign in 2010.

Kolomoyskyi also, reportedly, has a controlling interest in Burisma, the Ukrainian oil and gas company which put Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, on its board of directors in 2014. In 2016, at a time when top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, was investigating the notoriously corrupt Burisma Holdings, Joe Biden acknowledged on camera that, when he was vice president and spearheading the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy, he successfully pressured Ukraine to fire Shokin.

Ihor Kolomoyskyi

As he gives a good synopsis of Kolomoyskyi’s background, in the main from Kolomoyskyi’s Wikipedia page, rather than re-write it we have simply copied the text from Aristophanes’ twitter thread below.

Kolomoyskyi is an interesting character, and there’s a lot to unpack here. He was appointed governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, very close to Donetsk, after the war with the separatists started, he helped fund several of the volunteer battalions, including the neo-Nazi Azov Bat.

This is despite him being very much extremely Jewish – he has Ukrainian and Israeli citizenship, as well as Cypriot citizenship – who used his money to take over the Jewish community organisation of Ukraine by force.

Wikipedia: Ihor Kolomoyskyi, retrieved 3 March 2022

He couldn’t maintain popular support after this move, and like any good billionaire, just said “F**k it, I’ll build my own nationwide Jewish organisation and fill it with people who won’t dissent”

Let’s talk about what an absolute crook this dude is.

Kolomoyskyi stole billions of dollars from Ukrainian banks and transferred it to the US under the pretence of funding a steel company, only for the money to go underground and another rust belt industry to shutter its doors.

Shadowy money-built steel empire – with bank’s help, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 21 February 2022, retrieved 3 March 2022

He is also under investigation in Israel for buying 20 million dollars in coal, selling it to someone else, and shutting his company down before the check could bounce from the original seller of the coal, who was a Belarussian Oligarch.

Oligarch Kolomoisky allegedly faces criminal probe in Israel, Kyiv Post, 9 July 2021, retrieved 3 March 2022

This guy got on Putin’s st list for defrauding a Russian oligarch of several billion dollars, and even got on Poroshenko’s (Zelensky’s predecessor) st list for intimidating state officials with his own militia.

Wikipedia: Ihor Kolomoyskyi, retrieved 3 March 2022

This man is pretty obviously just a grifter and a mobster, who rips off eastern European oligarchs with contract fraud, and hides behind the Western dislike for those same oligarchs to prevent his prosecution. But we did mention he was on Poroshenko’s s**t list, right?

He was dismissed as governor of the Dnipro area oblast in 2014, and immediately turned around and helped ensure that “Servant of the People“, the show where Zelensky acted as president, was aired on his 1+1 network in Ukraine, of which he owns 70 percent.

Wikipedia: Ihor Kolomoyskyi, retrieved 3 March 2022

This sounds an awful lot like some petty billionaire revenge, doesn’t it? Dismissed from your gubernatorial duties by a president who was your ally because your corruption was too blatant and obvious, so you literally create a president to replace him with?

If you want an American analogue, this would be like if JB Pritzker, the governor of Illinois, was ousted by Joe Biden despite being a financier of his, and in some vicious long game funded a reboot of the West Wing and had some Colbert/Trudeau type play president and run later.

(I am aware presidents can’t fire governors; it works different here but I’m just making a comparison)

This is the power behind Zelensky though, a grifter and mobster who has been ripping off Belarussian and Russian oligarchs for billions, and look what’s happening to his puppet …

Just saying

Pandora Papers

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky rode to power on pledges to clean up the Eastern European country, but the Pandora Papers reveal he and his close circle were the beneficiaries of a network of offshore companies, including some that owned expensive London property, The Pandora Papers website states.

“In the heat of the campaign, a political ally of President Poroshenko published a chart purporting that Zelensky and his television production partners were beneficiaries of a web of offshore firms that allegedly received $41 million in funds from Kolomoisky’s Privatbank.”

“Zelensky has repeatedly pledged to rein in oligarchs. The day after the attack on Shefir, the country’s parliament passed a bill that would create a register of oligarchs and bar them from financing political parties or taking part in privatisations.”

Why would they set up offshore bank accounts at the same time that Kolomoisky was simply setting up an allegedly benign TV production deal with Kvartal? Unless the entire point of the show was to astroturf Zelensky into the real presidency all along…?

Pandora Papers Reveal Offshore Holdings of Ukrainian President and his Inner Circle

It’s pretty obvious that Zelensky is his puppet, and more disturbingly, his “role” in Servant of The People was intended from the very start, to be “life imitating art” in a wag the dog fashion.

Pandora Papers Reveal Offshore Holdings of Ukrainian President and his Inner Circle

And the expensive properties owned by Zelensky and his associates are not limited to London. George Webb, investigative journalist, tweeted a video report with the description: “Breaking down Ukraine – let’s start with Zelensky’s $35M mansion in Sunny Isles, FL built by Kolomoisky and Pinchuk. $1.3B in the bank!!”

George Webb, 1 March 2022

World Economic Forum

While there are no obvious ties between Kolomoisky and the World Economic Forum (“WEF”), there are obvious ties with Zelensky. For starters, he has a profile on WEF’s website.

It is no surprise then that the World Economic Forum (WEF) have thrown their support behind Ukraine, vowing to do “whatever is possible to help” the country. As RT reported: on Sunday, Schwab and WEF President Borge Brende said they “deeply condemn the aggression by Russia against Ukraine” and “the attacks and atrocities.”

But could there be more to WEF’s intervention than simply networking with one of its members? Could their Ukraine stance be because WEF, or rather the select financial institutions, corporations and individuals it represents, has vested interests in Ukraine?

During a February 2020 speech to the World Economic Forum, which took place just a few months before the WEF’s controversial “Great Reset” meeting, the newly “elected” Ukrainian President Zelensky said:

“I would like to note the projects of the Forum for Ukraine, and namely: Scenarios of the Future for Ukraine; Geneva initiative for Ukraine; the new economic vision for Ukraine. And I thank you for what has already been done and I count on the further fruitful cooperation.

Looking at the projects Zelensky thanked WEF for, it makes one wonder who is actually running Ukraine and who is actually to blame for Ukrainian people now finding themselves at the center of what Boris Johnson calls “the biggest war in Europe since 1945.”

Scenarios for Ukraine is where 300 decision-makers, government, business and civil society leaders as well as leading experts sketched out different pathways for Ukraine’s future economic development. These WEF “decision-makers” published their report on 11 April 2014.

Geneva Ukraine Initiative is where business leaders from Ukraine, the Russian Federation, Europe and the United States gathered in Geneva, on 14 September 2014, and worked out 10 proposals, to help resolve the conflict. “The group [of business leaders] calls for a summit of top political leaders as soon as possible,” the WEF announced.

It’s worth noting, at this time, while business leaders mapped out the future for Ukraine, Zelensky was prancing his way to fame.****

Volodymyr Zelensky Dancing in Heels, 2014

Zelensky’s speech at Davos 2020 continued:

“The topics which are debated here in Davos always focus on the state of the modern world and elucidate the challenges facing humanity. And this year for united the leaders to discuss extremely important topic the cohesive and sustainable world.”

The biggest threat to a cohesive and sustainable world was security, Zelensky told Davos. He also called for “western investors” to become “the stakeholders, shareholders of the success of a new Ukraine,” and said Ukraine was “a place where miracles come true.”

Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine: Special Address, Davos 2020

There seems to be an obvious starting point for world peace: do not allow the WEF, or those it represents, to interfere with or make decisions for any country. Because, as is clearly the case in Ukraine, just as it has been with the Covid Scandal worldwide, it is self-styled “businessmen” and their interests that have caused the strife.

CNN to Stop Broadcasting in Russia After Putin Signs Military ‘Misinformation’ Law

CNN announced on Friday it will stop broadcasting in Russia after the Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law that will criminalize anyone sharing “deliberately false information about the actions of Russian military personnel in Ukraine.”

Putin on Friday signed into law the measure that will penalize those who spread such information with fines or prison sentences. The law would impose up to three years or fines, but the maximum punishment rises to 15 years for cases considered to have led to “severe consequences.”

Lawmakers also passed amendments to the criminal code that would impose fines for people calling for sanctions against Russia.

“CNN will stop broadcasting in Russia while we continue to evaluate the situation and our next steps moving forward,” a spokesperson for the media said on Friday.

Other news outlets have announced they will suspend reporting from Russia. Bloomberg, the BBC, and the CBC were among the outlets that will temporarily suspend the work of their journalists there.

Bloomberg’s editor-in-chief, John Micklethwait, said that the change to the criminal code “makes it impossible to continue any semblance of normal journalism inside the country.”

BBC Director-General Tim Davie said the new law “appears to criminalize the process of independent journalism,” adding, “the safety of our staff is paramount and we are not prepared to expose them to the risk of criminal prosecution simply for doing their jobs.” BBC News in the Russian language will still be produced from outside the country.

The CBC said in a statement posted online that it is “very concerned” about the new law, which it says “appears to criminalize independent reporting on the current situation in Ukraine and Russia.”

Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of Russia’s lower house of parliament, said the new law “will force those who lied and made statements discrediting our armed forces to bear very grave punishment.”

“I want everyone to understand, and for society to understand, that we are doing this to protect our soldiers and officers, and to protect the truth,” he added.

Earlier on Friday, Russia’s communications watchdog Roskomnadzor said it blocked access to Facebook and Twitter in line with a decision by the prosecutor general’s office.

A statement from Roskomnadzor said Facebook has engaged in “26 cases of discrimination against Russian media and information resources” since October 2020. It added that Facebook’s ban is against Russian federal law on “measures to influence persons involved in violations of fundamental human rights and freedoms, the rights and freedoms of citizens of the Russian Federation.”

Twitter said in a statement Friday afternoon that while the company is “aware of reports” that its platform is now blocked in Russia, it has not been able to confirm the situation so far. Roskomnadzor has previously accused Twitter of failing to delete the content banned by Russian authorities and slowed down access to it.

The Russian government has banned or limited foreign media outlets inside the country, including Radio Free Europe, the BBC, Deutsche Welle, Meduza, Radio Liberty, and more.

On Thursday, Russia also shut down several Russian TV and radio stations, including TV Rain and Echo of Moscow, over what officials reportedly said was a violation of a law that bans describing the Ukraine crisis as a war or an invasion.

Also, app stores belonging to Apple and Google were blocked overnight in Russia March 3–4, according to monitoring group GlobalCheck.

Crisis Actors Pretending to be Dead Ukrainians Can’t Keep Still and Fox News Talking Heads Can’t Stop Lying

Paul Craig Roberts

As you can see from the short video, anti-Russian psyops is in full operation: It tells us nothing about Russia, but much about ourselves. Western presstitutes have no morality, no integrity, and will lie for money even when the lies lead to nuclear war.

The real scare comes from watching “our leaders” create a fictional world for us and for themselves woven from lies and fantasies, just as they did with Covid, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, 9/11, Vietnam, ad infinitum. American modern history is simply a movement from one false reality to another. We have reached the point where no one in authority has any grasp on reality. This is real danger.

Is the West planning a bioweapons attack?

Boris Johnson on the Biolabs: Russia will use chemical attacks.

There is already news that the Ukrainian army is destroying their own cities and using people as human shields. Would they use bioweapons to "force" The West to get involved in "saving" Ukrainians, just like they did the WMDs-farce in Iraq or tried in Syria?

Article 6 states: "Any State Party to this convention which finds that any other state party is acting in breach of obligations..." "Such a complaint should include all possible evidence confirming its validity".

Russia has proof the United States breached their obligations and they are about to prove it to the world.

NEW - UN Security Council will convene Friday at Russia’s request to discuss Moscow's claims of "the military biological activities of the United States on the territory of Ukraine."

Meanwhile - Zelenky emotionally calling on NATO to save them (Propaganda) -

NATO has repeatedly said that it will not attempt to impose a no-fly zone over Ukraine as that would vastly increase the threat of all out war. Whilst Putin has said that any such move would be an act of war.

NATO & WW3 -

As of Dec 2021, Russia received data on NATO plans to place 4 military brigades in Ukraine. NATO troops wanted to agree on this introduction in summer 2022, at the UN meeting. Next, most likely by the end of the year, they would provoke a conflict and start a full-scale war against Russia using nuclear weapons...
