Maui Fires

How about this one, Full view available. Glass and aluminum melted yet asphalt road fine. I am sure you will come up with some excuse for this....

hi-res version

Looks completely normal, a burned out car. <- in these they are also missing their windshields. Did they melt?

What do you believe that should happen to the asphalt road?

I believe like any sensible thinking person that asphalt would melt before aluminum and glass would, it usually even goes soft on a hot day in the tropics....

Melted alloys. Proof of DEWs? These images are from various events in various parts of the world. Also DEWs? Hardly.

I believe like any sensible thinking person that this matter might be more complicated than one would think initially.

Is the fire temperature equal everywhere? (no) Hotter at the top? (yes) Hotter depending on wind direction? (yes)

Example: a chunk of asphalt held up, surrounded by air would probably melt and burn quite efficiently in a car fire, however as the asphalt is covering the ground one question that arises is how much of the heat is transferred down deep into the ground and thus not heating up the asphalt.

And of course, why are we not finding images of melted asphalt under other car fires?

Also, no proof of melted glass, it probably just shatters first...

"Typically, large pavements do not get burned due to some major reasons. One of these reasons is asphalt is made of non-combustible elements. Sand and little stones are made of 90 percent of the volume of the pavement. Another key reason is that bitumen’s ignition temperature is 900 degrees Fahrenheit. It, however, boils at 600 degrees and is more likely to vaporize and melt before burning. Usually, the ground is cooler as compared to the effect of flames on vehicles, bushes, trees, and homes. Therefore, the short time the fire is over the asphalt pavement does not raise the heat to 900 degrees. "(source)

No space laser in this one either.

There were still very heavy winds from the hurricane and a high pressure in the north. Very strong winds that we have seen in many videos.

Apparently not. I believe for the same reason my house did not burn down to ashes.

@adam hello?

Hello @cybe.old good to read that you are ok.

They weren't out to burn those guys houses down.....they are part of the gang.

Who weren’t out? There’s no proof of DEWs or arsonists.

The claim that fires started from downed power lines seems the most plausible at this moment I believe.
