Jesus Is Your Only Hope

Our society trains us not to think about the things that really matter. Instead, we are constantly directed to think about whatever is going to make us happy in the moment, and if we don’t know what that is society certainly has a lot of suggestions for us. Of course all of the things that bring a bit of temporary happiness can never fill the deep hole of emptiness and pain that most people carry around with them. Surveys tell us that people have never been more depressed than they are right now, suicide rates have never been higher, and both legal and illegal drugs are being abused at levels that are absolutely unprecedented. Even though we are literally surrounded by things that are supposed to make us happy, our society has never been unhappier than it is at this moment.

But even though so many of us are so incredibly unhappy, hearts are extremely hard.

Have you ever felt like you are talking to a brick wall when you are trying to share the truth with someone?

I certainly have.

So many people appear to be entirely convinced that they already have all the answers, and so they refuse to be open to anyone that is trying to help them.

This is one of the reasons why I write the way that I do.

In a society that is full of hardened hearts, you have got to find a way to shake people up and break through to them emotionally.

Our society has a way of getting us to only focus on the present, and it is constantly assuring all of us that everything is going to be okay.

But everything is not going to be okay.

Most of us are on a highway that only leads to pain, suffering and death, and the same can be said for our society as a whole.

In my articles I talk about some really hard things, and the goal is to shock people out of their slumber.

Because if people do not understand the danger that they are facing, they will not be interested in the solution.

No matter how indestructible you may feel at this moment, the truth is that your time is limited.

And for much of the global population, the end is going to come a whole lot quicker than they ever anticipated.

We really are heading into the most apocalyptic times in all of human history, and we really are going to see death and destruction on a scale that most of us don’t even want to think about.

People call me “the king of doom and gloom” because I am constantly making statements like that, but I am not here to bring you doom and gloom.

I am here to give you hope.

If you are looking to fill the deep hole of emptiness and pain that is relentlessly gnawing at you, the answer is Jesus.

He can give you a brand new life, and He can give you a future that is brighter than you can even imagine right now.

I know, because He has done it for me.

Without Jesus, I would be dead.

In His great mercy, He has lifted me up and has given me a platform that I can use to talk to the entire world.

No matter what you have been through, God can take the broken pieces of your life and turn them into a beautiful thing.

But are you willing to do that?

Sadly, in this day and age there is so much confusion about God. Our society works really hard to get all of us to doubt matters of faith, and that is extremely unfortunate.

If you want to determine which way is the right way, go around the world and check the tombs of all of the major religious leaders throughout history to see which ones are empty.

Of course the truth is that there is only one Empty Tomb, and that is because Jesus is the only Son of God. He was crucified on a wooden cross and rose from the dead three days later.

In fact, if you go to Jerusalem today, physical evidence of the Garden Tomb being forcibly opened is still there. Those that have read “End Times” already know what I am talking about. On one side of the doorway, you can literally see where the top of an iron rod that had been driven into the face of the tomb to secure the Roman seal was sheared off by an act of incredible force.

But most of you don’t know about this, because our society wants you focusing on other things.

There is so much evidence for the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, and there is so much evidence for the Christian faith.

Sadly, most people don’t want to listen.

Most people just want to continue following the masses down a highway that will give them no hope and no future.

But if you take the narrow path and give your life to Christ, you can have a future that is more glorious than I can even describe right now.

The Bible tells us that God sent His only Son to this world.

He did a lot of amazing things, but His main mission was to die.

Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for your sins and my sins and the sins of the whole world.

That means that your sins can be completely forgiven if you will just give your life to Him. John 3:16 tells us the following…

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Believing in Jesus is not just intellectually acknowledging that He died on the cross and rose from the dead.

What God is looking for is a permanent commitment.

If you give your life to Jesus, your sins will be forgiven, you will be “born again”, and you will have eternal life.

Is there anything that our society can offer you that is more valuable than eternal life?

Times are going to get really, really hard in the years ahead.

Most of the world will plunge into despair because they have no hope.

That is why we must bring hope to as many people as we can while we still have the opportunity to do so.

No matter what anyone is going through, Jesus is the answer.

He is the beginning, He is the end, and He is our only hope.

And when this story is finally done, He will welcome us home to be with Him forever, and there is nothing that our society could ever offer that is better than that.

Dear Name. - June 17

"Jesus." Say My Name often. It was in My Name Peter bade the lame man walk. "In the Name of Christ Jesus the Nazarite arise and walk."

"Jesus." The very sounding of My Name, in Love and tenderness, drives away all evil. It is the word before which all the hosts of evil flee.

"Jesus." My Name is the call for a life-line to rescue you from temptation.

"Jesus." The Name banishes loneliness - dispels gloom.

"Jesus." Summons help to conquer your faults.

I will set you on high because you have known My Name.

Yes! My Name - "Jesus." Use it more. Use it tenderly. Use it prayerfully. Use it powerfully. Never take it in vain.

GC-No Other Name. - September 13 My Name is the Power that turns evil aside, that summons all good to your aid. Spirits of evil flee at the sound of "Jesus." Spoken in fear, in weakness, in sorrow, in pain, it is an appeal I never fail to answer, "Jesus." Use My Name often. Think of the unending call of "mother" made by her children. To help, to care, to decide, to appeal, "mother." Use My Name in that same way - simply, naturally, forcefully. "Jesus." Use it not only when you need help but to express Love. Uttered aloud, or in the silence of your hearts, it will alter an atmosphere from one of discord to one of Love. It will raise the standard of talk and thought. "Jesus." So never take it in vain. "There is no other Name under Heaven whereby you can be saved."

Hebrew 5:1-10
5:1 For every High Priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things [pertaining] to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
5:2 Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of The Way; for that he himself also is compassed with weakness.
5:3 And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.
5:4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called by God, as [was] Aaron.
5:5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made The High Priest; but He that said unto him, Thou art My Son, to day have I incarnated thee.
5:6 As He saith also in another [place], Thou [art] a Priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
5:10 Called by God an High Priest after the order of Melchizedek.
