The Governor says all parties involved in the treaty negotiations want at least an in-principle agreement by Christmas.

Speaking to Gibraltar Today, Sir David Steel said this would allow them to move on to drafting the final treaty by Easter.

This week, the UK and Spanish Foreign Ministers met and discussed the treaty for Gibraltar.

And asked about the letter on behalf of RGP whistle blowers to him, calling for an independent inquiry into their disclosures..the Governor said that there are difficulties in the RGP like there are in police forces around the world, but that it was working to turn into something Gibraltar should be proud of.
