The demo is about many issues;
It's about the state of our roads.
It's about the state of our health system.
It's about the exorbitant financial increases in public services.
It's about the many financial cutbacks to much needed social welfare.
It's about the much needed public funds going towards private developments.
It's about the lack of social housing and the blatant govt abuse of the housing waiting lists..
It's about social poverty and relying on newly set up charities to tackle the poverty.
Its about lack of transparency of govt controlled agencies.
It's about non implementation of election manifestos.
It's about modernising our 19th century sewage system.
It's about making affordable housing affordable.
It's about giving away public land for private profits.
It's about providing training for our future employment needs.
It's about providing decent wages in the private sector.
It's about revealing the true mean average weekly wage of most employees.
It's about equalising pensions between men and women.
It's about getting rid of Community Care and relying on charity to care for social imbalances.
It's about effectively dealing with traffic and parking issues.
It's about improving Gibraltar as a touristic destination.
It's about effectively reducing our carbon footprint.
It's about dealing with pollution caused by Shipping services and our port facilities.
It's about the completion of infinite money pit projects like the covered trench tunnel at the eastside of the airport.
It's about the not so secret undemocratic arranged business deals and abuse of a so called tender system.
It's about the blatant disregard of allowing the public a right to a referendum about potential treaties being made which affect our future as a people.
It's about our lack of democratic rights in our failed constitution.
It's about other nations making deals between them over our future.
It's about political transparency in our house of assembly.
It's about allowing economically powerful entities control over our elected representatives.
It's about ensuring the needs of the less capable are catered for.
It's about putting the needs of the people of Gibraltar first and foremost.
It's about gender equality in the public and private sectors.
It's about having reliable public services like our water and electricity.
It's about the future we envisage for our children and their children.
It's about modernising our Gibraltar and making it a world leader as a 21st century micro nation.
It's about improving the many failures of our legal system.
It's about making government and their departments liable for their failings and non compliance of their responsibilities.
It's also about a lot of other issues this present government ignores and sweeps under the carpet.
This demonstration was much the same as the last one. Everyone walked from Casemates to No. 6 to hand Der Fuehrer Picardo a letter. The crowd chanted "da la cara" (show your face) to get him out. He came out accepted the letter and turned around and walked straight back in with his bodyguard at his side. He did not say anything this time. There was some disappointment to the crowd size. Bart put in his video there were 400; others think under 200.
