FORGIVENESS

FORGIVENESS
Forgiveness is releasing bitterness, anger, and thoughts of revenge or wishing that what was done to you/us should happen to them, we live that for God Himself.

Ephesians 4:31-32
4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Mathew 6:14-15

6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

To forgive is spiritual, and there are steps to be taken during forgiveness .

1; Acknowledge,; Gain awareness on what forgiveness is and it's benefits.

2; Think through things that hurted you:

3; Imagine being the one on the other side, how would it be upon you.

4; Remember God's forgiveness, Jesus forgave to the last minute (luke: 23;34)
5; Reflect on biblical command, it commands us to forgive and love each other , just as the Lord has forgiven and loved us.

6; Release/ let go the hurt now (speak forgiveness now)

7; Continue praying for those who hurted you, mathew; 5:44.
