Fires on the Rise

Glad to hear it.

The following might sound like nitpicking and weird but I believe it is important.

I know the ways "I knew that" is used and that it's a kind of traditional saying.

However, I wish to point out that I believe that what you've just said is not true.

You did not KNOW that I would return. How could you?

You do knot know what goes through my mind concerning this forum and my participation in it*.

Does this matter? I believe so.

Due to our unfortunate circumstances here on planet Earth, and the fact that Truth vs lies is such a relevant issue, I believe that it is very important that proper use of language that maximizes understanding and minimizes missunderstanding is used, and that we do not blindly follow traditions. In scripture we are commanded to be perfect. Does that not also apply to what we say?

As we do not know the thought processes and knowledge of the other person, or someone else (a child for instance) we cannot be absolutely sure that he/she knows and understands various traditional sayings.

This mindset also works as a kind of training program to help one carefully listen to what people are saying and what it really means.

Am I making any sense, please?
