“Antidepressants are supposed to cure depression. That’s why they’re prescribed. And yet, over the same period that SSRI prescriptions have risen 3,000 percent, the suicide rate — that may be the most reliable indicator of all depression — has not fallen in the United States. In fact, the suicide rate has jumped by 35%. That’s a huge increase,” Carlson argued on his Monday night broadcast. “That’s a lot of dead people.”
“Now, drug makers admit that their products may be part of the reason for the increase in suicide. The makers of Prozac, for example, can see that young people who take that drug have an increased risk of suicide compared to those who took a placebo. Think about that for a second. A drug that’s supposed to make you less sad may make it more likely that you will kill yourself. How is that allowed? Well, it’s been allowed because virtually no one has said a word about it.”
Pfizer-sponsored corporate media continues to promote the SSRIs and ignores the birth defects, sexual dysfunction, an increased hazard of violent crime linked to their usage.
Dr. Deborah Birx Transitions from Top Covid Advisor to Big Pharma CEO
Dr. Deborah Birx, a former top Covid advisor under President Donald Trump, will be transitioning seamlessly to a new job as CEO of a pharmaceutical company.
The former White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator until she was replaced under President Joe Biden, Dr. Birx will now be heading up a firm known as Armata Pharmaceuticals.
“Deborah L. Birx, M.D., was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Armata on July 10, 2023,” the company announced. “Prior to joining Armata, Dr. Birx served as a member of Innoviva’s Board of Directors from March 2021 until July 2023.”
“Dr. Birx is a world-renowned medical expert and leader who most recently served as the response coordinator of the White House Coronavirus Task Force,” the release noted. “Previously, she served as Ambassador-at-Large, when she assumed the role of the Coordinator of the United States Government Activities to Combat HIV/AIDS and U.S. Special Representative for Global Health Diplomacy. Dr. Birx also served as the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator where she oversaw the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) at the CDC and as the Director of the U.S. Military HIV Research Program (USMHRP) at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.”
