Not sure if there were reports of a thunderstorm in the recent Texas fires, but there are reports of strong winds. The possiblility of downed power lines is also being investigated.
The video of a "green beam" posted by Chuck Callesto on X does not appear to be related to the Texas fires, but was captured back in December during a thunderstorm. Certainly a cause for concern.
