Elon Musk has terminated his buyout deal for Twitter. Musk claimed Twitter would not provide the data he requested. In particular, they were not forthcoming with data about fake users on the platform.
They say Musk is a very smart man, but I questioned his intelligence when he offered $44 billion for the declining social media behemoth. Some say Musk did it to expose the company for what it is—a far left, ‘woke’ organization that does not believe in free speech. He succeeded in proving something most us already knew—especially we conservatives who were unceremoniously booted from the Twitter platform.
Musk will get sued and he will probably have to swallow a one billion dollar ‘poison pill’ for backing out of the deal. That’s a lot of money to lose just to point out Twitter’s censoriousness and corrupt nature that had already become obvious. Maybe this is simply his latest intelligent move — a ploy designed to buy the company at a much lower price.

Numerous connections going on. Perhaps, move to Truth Social and test the water there . It professes to be open to different opinions and supports free speech to the hilt (so they say). Elon Musk jokingly or perhaps sarcastically said it should have been called Trumpet instead of Truth Social. Anyway, Donald Trump is honing on to the word "Truth" as if he owns Truth.
In the words of Donald J. Trump: THE TWITTER DEAL IS DEAD, LONG LIVE THE “TRUTH” - end of quote.
By "TRUTH", he (DJT) is referring to Truth Social the social media platform created for and by DJT. DJT is wanting, has talked about getting Elon Musk over to Truth Social and maybe to keep a closer eye on Musk. Who knows. TS may become the next Twitter as far as more followers. At least that is the plan. If Elon Musk does decide to set-up an account on TS his 100 million + followers would go too putting the final nail in the coffin for Twitter and all its AI. Interesting how EM terminated the Twitter deal after his visit with the pope earlier this month.
Fortunately, you can also take steps towards preventing your location data from winding up in the hands of data brokers and the federal government. As a first step, you can disable your advertising identifier. This removes the most ubiquitous tool that data brokers use to link data from different sources to your device. You can also look at the apps on your phone and turn off any unnecessary permissions granted to third-party apps. Data brokers often obtain information via apps, and any app with location permission is a potential vector. Revoke permissions that apps do not absolutely need, especially location access, and uninstall apps that you do not trust.

Yes, anyone who hurts Christ Jesus, God's Son, is due recompense, they will be punished.
They may think they have exemption from punishment or freedom from the injurious consequences of an action but the Bible states differently.

God's Law is what everyone is being judged by daily, whether they believe it or not doesn't change this FACT.

The drama / saga between Donald Trump and Elon Musk continues. Looks like these two cannot see eye-to-eye.
Musk’s latest comments were clearly aimed at Trump.
Elon Musk Suggests Law That Would Literally Make Biden Run Illegal in 2024
On Monday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded to former President Donald Trump calling him a “bulls*** artist.” His suggestion would keep not only Trump but also President Joe Biden off the ballot in 2024.
“I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset,” Musk wrote on Twitter. “Dems should also call off the attack — don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency.”
Conservative talk show host Joe “Pags” Pagliarulo disagreed with Musk and outlined many of Trump’s accomplishments. In response, Musk elaborated on his thoughts.
“Yeah, but too much drama,” Musk wrote. “Do we really want a bull in a china shop situation every single day!? Also, I think the legal maximum age for start of Presidential term should be 69.”
This is consistent with previous suggestions from Musk. In December, he suggested septuagenarians should not be eligible to run for president or any other political office.

Elon Musk Locks Out Twitter Engineers, Has Tesla Staff Review Code
Following his takeover of Twitter, Tesla CEO Elon Musk reportedly had Tesla engineers review Twitter’s software code and prevented Twitter engineers from making further changes.
Bloomberg reports that on Thursday, Elon Musk arrived at Twitter offices to officially confirm his company takeover after the $44 billion purchase deal closed. As part of his takeover, Musk fired top executives including CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, and Vijaya Gadde, head of legal policy, trust, and safety. The company’s general counsel, Sean Edgett, was also let ago according to sources and all were promptly escorted out of the company’s offices in San Francisco.

Musk also reportedly had Tesla engineers enter the offices to review Twitter’s code and meet with product leaders at the company. Sources stated that the Tesla engineers were there to review the code and assess and explain to Musk the changes that they believe the company needs to make to be in line with his vision.
Twitter engineers were reportedly promptly locked out from making changes to the platform’s current codebase in an effort to ensure that nothing about the product changes before Musk’s acquisition deal is fully confirmed.
Sources say Musk plans to assume the role of CEO at Twitter but may eventually exit the role and appoint a new executive to the position. Sources also claim that Musk plans to remove Twitter’s permanent blacklisting of users as he does not believe in lifelong bans.
This would mean users that have previously been removed from the platform, such as former President Donald Trump, should be able to return to the site once again. It remains to be seen if formerly blacklisted users choose to return, and what other policies Musk plans to introduce.

Donald Trump supporters are reacting with glee to news that Twitter's new owner Elon Musk has fired the lawyer that nixed the former president's account on the social media platform.
After taking control of Twitter on Thursday, Musk swiftly fired company CEO Parag Agrawal and other executives, reports the Associated Press, including Chief Legal Counsel Vijaya Gadde, who made the call in January 2021 to permanently suspend Trump's account for inciting violence. Conservatives, who've complained that Twitter's content moderation is uneven, were receptive to Musk's ownership of the platform. Now, they're cheering Musk's early decisions.
"I was suspended 8 times for absolutely no reason," Libs of TikTok, a Twitter account famous for mocking liberals, tweeted. "I have zero sympathy for Vijaya Gadde- chief of account banning and censorship."

Might this (tweet below) apply to Gibraltar Messenger? I've asked a question (on twitter) that thus far is unanswered: If an account was "permanently suspended", does that mean it cannot be restored because it no longer exists?

Elon Musk has announced suspended Twitter accounts will be offered an 'amnesty' from next week after a poll revealed a landslide of users support the move.
The head of the company, who completed a $44 billion takeover in October, said accounts for users will be restored as long as they haven't broken the law or engaged in spamming.
The poll posted on Wednesday asked: 'Should Twitter offer a general amnesty to suspended accounts, provided that they have not broken the law or engaged in egregious spam?'
Some 72.4 percent of voters said yes, while 27.6 percent said no. There were 3,162,112 votes cast during the 24-hour poll.
Musk said on Thursday: 'The people have spoken. Amnesty begins next week. Vox Populi, Vox Dei.'
The declaration opens up the possibility that thousands of suspended accounts will be immediately reinstated. It's not yet clear whether there will be a vetting process before accounts are reactivated, or whether Twitter will simply take a broad brush approach and restore all of them at once.

On Wednesday, Gateway Pundit founder Jim Hoft penned an open letter to Elon Musk asking to reinstate The Gateway Pundit so we could report on the deposition of Dr. Anthony Fauci yesterday.
Two hours later, Musk posted a poll to Twitter asking about granting general amnesty to accounts that didn’t break the law or spam egregiously.
The results are in. And Musk has spoken.
Starting next week: we’re back! All of us! All accounts that didn’t violate the law will reportedly be reinstated to Twitter.
