A DISCUSSION WITH ANDREW BRIDGEN

"Tyrants always ask you to give up your freedoms for security and convenience, and history shows that... you'll end up ultimately with neither."

We are finding out more about how the Government’s Assisted Dying Bill will work in practice and it’s not pretty for the elderly and vulnerable. We can see the wood from the trees in North West Leicestershire can you ?

The Andrew Bridgen Letter

Letter sent to Prime Minister Keir Starmer this morning regarding the Chagos Island fraud. Self explanatory. Please read and share. https://x.com/ABridgen/status/2019348696832381238

Former Conservative Party MP Andrew Bridgen has issued the following letter to Prime Minister Keir Starmer regarding the Chagos Island fraud.
Remember we were told by Keir Starmer that the handover of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius would cost the UK a net overall amount of £3.4 billion over 99 years. This figure was presented as the average annual cost of £101 million, adjusted for inflation. Whilst the actual projected cost is £35-41+ billion over 99 years [Ref https://www.telegraph.co.uk/.../revealed-chagos-deal-to.../ ]. The Telegraph states £35 Billion, as it's dependent on inflation the upper cost could be £41+ billion.
This alone constitutes a MASSIVE difference in the actual cost to UK taxpayers. It's also provided a huge incentive for Mauritius to double down on their false claims...
The Chagos Islands have never been administered or owned by Mauritius, they have been UK sovereign territory since 1814. Mauritius became independent in 1968, the Chagos Islands became the British Indian Ocean Territory in 1965.
The US-UK agreement was made in 1967 and became part of international law in which UK sovereignty was enshrined over the island and any change to the agreement required at least 2 years notice period for either party to request changes... This has been overlooked!
When the British Indian Ocean Territory was formed and the US-UK base agreement made, Mauritius was paid several million £'s and agreed in writing accepting UK sovereignty of the Chagos Islands (which even though they have never owned, they then accepted they do not have claim over).
The people of the Chagos Islands are a distinct ethnic group, mostly descended from freed African slaves, they follow Christianity, they are totally different from Mauritians who are primarily of Indian sub-continent origin and followers of Hinduism.
A 2021 Mauritian law has a prison sentence of up to 10 years for anyone objecting to or disputing the islands claim to the Chagos Islands an average distance of 1554 miles from Mauritius! This morning in the Royal courts of Justice Mr Justice Chamberlain dismissed the application by the United Grand Lodge of England and others to prevent the disclosure of members of the MPS ( metropolitan police service) who are also members of the Freemasons.
