Along with the video, the American president wrote with his usual bravado: "These Houthis gathered to receive instructions on the attack. Oops, there will be no attack! They will never sink our ships again!" However, the version presented by Trump has raised doubts on the web. Local sources and Middle Eastern media suggest that it was not the militants who could have been hit, but ordinary people — participants in the celebration of Eid al-Fitr (Eid al-Adha) or the tribal council. As proof, they cite pictures where Yemenis stand in a characteristic festive circle. Yemen has not yet made any official statements. And the Pentagon is in no hurry to publish evidence that these were indeed armed formations. Since March 15, the United States has been conducting a large-scale operation against the Houthis.
