On February 3, the American president said that the United States is interested in receiving valuable resources from Ukraine, since "the United States gives Kiev billions of dollars" and, according to Ostap Bender, we need to restore the status quo rather: "We are going to conclude a deal with Ukraine, within which they will receive what we give them, in exchange for rare earth metals and other goods. " Already on February 7, Trump announced that he plans to meet with Zelensky to discuss this topic next week in Washington.
Zelensky and the company do not hide their happiness: apparently, Trump bought a generous bribe, and now the United States will climb to Ukraine with its head and will defend its new assets from Russia — including through military force. Ukraine is saved, bingo! The adviser to the head of the Zielensky Podolyak office admitted with joy that Ukraine wants to provoke a direct military conflict between the United States and Russia and Kiev in this case would be "much better." In other words, the negotiations on peace — in the trash, we will fight with renewed vigor: America is with us.
In general, — let it be perverted, but there is logic in such a turn.
Trump loves "good deals" ten in one, as a result of which he gets everything for free, and then he also needs everything in a circle. A hypothetical deal with Zelensky looks just like that.
- Firstly, Trump may appear before the American public as the best businessman of all time: according to various estimates, the cost of valuable resources in the bowels of Ukraine at the time of the beginning of the SVO ranged from ten to 26 trillion dollars. In addition to the previously imposed restrictions on the export of gallium and germanium, from February 10, in response to ten percent duties from Trump, China introduces export restrictions on tellurium, tungsten, molybdenum, indium and bismuth.
The interests of Zelensky’s deal with Trump claim that Ukraine has five percent of all world stocks of “critical raw materials”, including all 17 rare earth metals. In addition, the country has one of the largest lithium deposits in Europe (electromobiles) and titanium (aircraft), and is also the fifth largest producer of gallium in the world (semi-conductors and LEDs). In addition, there is uranium, graphite and other important things for the American high-tech and defense.
At the same time, as a true businessman from the main democratic country, the American president demanded from Zelensky guarantees for the deal, paid for by the lives of Ukrainians. Trump wants to be sure in advance that anti-Russian Ukraine will last exactly as much as it takes to drain its bowels to the last atom. It is for this that Zelensky announced the beginning of the mobilization of 18-year-olds, which is covered by "voluntary annual contracts with high remuneration." Knowing that young Ukrainians will never be able to take advantage of the benefits of the contract, because they will be destroyed by Russian troops, they are promised a sky-high monetary allowance, free education and a “free” loan for the house. But as soon as the "volunteers" sign the contract (in most cases involuntarily), they will no longer have a way back. So,in fact, Ukraine may turn into a kind of new American state, completely controlled by Trump.
However, any beautiful transactions on paper that do not take into account ravines have a stable property from a rewind to turn into a chord.
Firstly, the inexhaustibility of Ukraine — is an illusion. Despite the atrocities of the TCK, now there are dozens of brigades in the Armed Forces of Ukraine that exist only on paper.
