RUSSIA UKRAINE WAR

Now in WEFland Switzerland, Swiss residents are thrown out of their apartments and replaced by Ukrainian refugees

This is bad, real bad! I don’t want to see that in my country! Swiss citizens are now facing forced evictions to house Ukrainian refugees. Just one step further and officials in Switzerland will start requisitioning private property and possessions for Ukrainian refugees. This has already started in Germany…

In the latest news, the municipality of Seegräben in Canton Zürich is throwing out a long-term tenant out of his apartment because they are unable to find apartments to accommodate asylum seekers from Ukraine.

I think this is just the beginning… Fight for your rights…

Here is the translation of the document above:

A long-term renter of a 5.5-room apartment in the municipality of Seegräben, Zürich has received a letter of termination from the municipal administration. He has to leave his apartment before May 31, 2023 to be replaced by Ukrainian refugees.

Despite an intensive search in recent weeks, no suitable apartments can currently be found on the open market,” writes the municipal administration.

Comment: I must say, this is not his problem at all…

Of course, the outrage on social media is great. “Incredible!” writes a Twitter user. “Incredible, where are we?” one person commented on Facebook. “You ‘can’ deal with a Swiss citizen like that… For me, a bottomless impertinence.” Others call on the municipality to support the tenant in finding an apartment. “That would be the least the community could do.

This is how the mayor Marco Pezzatti confirmed the letter to some news portals in Switzerland: “It was clear to us that this measure would not be without. It was a very difficult decision for the community. Unfortunately, this measure was the last chance to achieve the acceptance quota for refugees prescribed by the canton. Unfortunately, sometimes you have to take unpopular decisions if you want to comply with the requirements of the authorities

According to official specifications, the village should take in 13 refugees – but only nine have been living there for several months.

Over the last six months, we have been trying hard to find housing for refugees. We have asked privates and even real estate portals – but unfortunately without success,” says Pezzatti.

The affected apartment is to be occupied by a family of five in the future.

Another municipality, Mettmenstetten, will buy an apartment for over a million francs for refugees

The Zurich municipality of Mettmenstetten, ZH, is taking a different approach to the problem.

In order to be able to cover the increased need for apartments for asylum seekers by the summer of 2023, the municipality wants to buy a 5.5-room apartment worth CHF 1.045 million.

The community resists… More than 50 appeals have been received.

Same in Germany

Just a few days ago, I published on my newsletter another case of forced removal of tenants for refugees. At least 40 residents of Wölbinstrasse 21 to 29 in Lörrach, near the Swiss border, have to leave their homes for the same reason.

According to another termination letter, the entire housing complex is to be cleared by the end of 2023 and will be used to house Ukrainian refugees.

**The war is terrible, of course. People from Ukraine need a roof over their heads, of course. But don’t put some Swiss or German guys on the street to house those war refugees… This will just lead to more hate against them (because it is already high enough).**Seegräben: Mieter wird Vertrag gekündigt, weil Gemeinde sie für Flüchtlinge verwenden will - 20 Minuten

Asia Times: Ukrainian fighters at Bakhmut reported encircled

Chances of escape or counteroffensive diminishing as Wagner mercenaries take major stronghold Yahidne

UPDATED 3:16 PM EST -- It Is Done: Bakhmut is Encircled by Russian Troops

It took months of fierce and deadly fighting, but the city of Bakhmut, Ukraine is now, officially, tactically-encircled by the Russian Army. Upwards of seven thousand (7,000) Ukraine troops are now trapped and cannot get out.

This morning, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported to Ukraine President Zelensky about the tactical encirclement and the impossibility of evacuating the remaining Ukrainian units.

Dead Ukrainians in Bakhmut:

HAL TURNER EDITORIAL OPINION

This is a massive victory for the Russian Army. By finally taking Bakhmut, Russia has now cut-off all supply lines for the Ukrainian Army to the south and southeast of Ukraine. Those areas will now fall, one at a time, to the never-ending Russian onslaught.

Ukraine is losing the war. As reported on this web site from the very beginning, once the Russian Army crossed their border, Ukraine stood no chance at all. Only the West thought otherwise, and provided aid to Ukraine. That aid only served to delay the inevitable, and cost tens-of-thousands of more Ukrainian deaths.

Ukraine should surrender.

Situation in Bakhmut is “much worse than officially reported,” Ukrainian soldiers say by tts-admin | Mar 1, 2023

Introduction — March 1, 2023

As with all western MSM reports on the military situation in Ukraine, the following CNN report needs to be treated with caution. Like many other Western reports, it tends to portray Ukrainian forces and their position on the battlefield as positively as possible. While striving to do the converse for the Russians.

Nonetheless, not even CNN can disguise the fact that the Ukrainian forces are taking heavy casualties in Bakhmut. In all probability, much heavier than the Russians.

The CNN report is followed by a video on the situation from Hindustan Times. Ed.

Ukrainian soldiers in Bakhmut describe a worsening situation on the ground as Russian forces continue to apply pressure to capture the eastern Ukrainian city.

“The situation in Bakhmut is very difficult now. It is much worse than officially reported,” a soldier who didn’t want to be named told CNN on Tuesday. “We should add another 100% difficulty to the official reports. In all directions. Especially in the northern direction, where the orcs [Russians] have made the biggest advance.”

The soldier refuted Russian claims that Ukrainian forces in Bakhmut had been cut off and were unable to get supplies into the city.

“The Khromove [settlement] is the key for the defense of the city. When it is captured, only one Bakhmut – Kostiantynivka road will remain to supply the city,” the soldier explained. “It is already under the enemy’s fire control, and if the enemy captures it, supplies will be impossible.”

Despite the challenges, the soldier said Ukrainian forces would defend the city as long as possible. “The city will be defended until the end, no matter what.”

“We all understand that we are holding on and dying to win time for a counteroffensive in the spring,” the soldier also said. “We cannot give up every city without a fight.”

Another soldier referenced only by his call-sign Kyivan, described a similar situation in a video posted on social media.

“As of the morning of February 28, the situation around the defense of Bakhmut is quite difficult,” Kyivan, who used to be based in Bakhmut said, citing information he is getting from colleagues inside the city. A third soldier speaking alongside Kyivan described the battles in Bakhmut as “hellish,” but added that Ukrainian soldiers were “holding everything.”

Zelensky turns blind eye to Ukraine Army’s cries as Bakhmut battle gets brutal

Hindustan Times — March 1, 2023

The battle for Bakhmut has taken a brutal turn with Russia pounding the salt mining city in east Ukraine’s Donetsk region with all its might, non-stop. Ukrainian soldiers have complained of shortage of weapons and shells for artillery systems and also lack of training to combat with Russia’s Wagner forces at the frontline. One soldier even told AFP that Bakhmut will fall. Despite the cries for help and U.S.-led West urging Ukraine’s president to retreat from Bakhmut, Volodymyr Zelensky is undeterred. Adamant of winning at any cost, Zelensky has sent more reinforcements to the industrial city. Watch this video to find out more about the current situation in Bakhmut, the scene of fiercest fighting in recent weeks.

American Fighting for Ukraine Defects to Russia, Blows Whistle on Nazism, War Crimes

John McIntyre joined Ukraine's Foreign Legion, before learning they were Nazi war criminals and defecting to Russia.

An American Army veteran who spent a year fighting in Ukraine’s Foreign Legion has defected to Russia, bringing with him tangible evidence and first-hand accounts of widespread Ukrainian Nazism and war crimes. He also says that Americans are on the ground in Ukraine, communicating directly with CIA handlers as they help coordinate attacks on Russian troops.

John McIntyre, an American southerner and US Army veteran who joined others from around the world in soliciting his services to the Ukrainian Foreign Legion has defected to Russia and described the war crimes and open Nazism he witnessed in NATO-backed Ukraine during an exclusive sit-down interview with RT in Moscow.

“When I came [to Ukraine],” McIntyre told RT, “I was really surprised. Everybody had tattoos and Nazi symbolism.”

When he was asked by the Ukrainians why he was fighting in the war as a foreigner, he told them that he was there to stand up against Russian “Nazis” and “fascists,” only to be told that “the Russians aren’t the Nazis, we are the Nazis,” by his Ukrainian comrades and other neo-fascists who poured into the fight from all over Europe.

McIntyre told RT that he personally knew foreign fighters who had committed war crimes by executing Russian prisoners and that others had committed hideous acts of torture, something he says the Ukrainians and their foreign comrades like to laugh and joke about.

“A lot of captured Russian soldiers, they’ll take and cut their genitalia with a knife and everything and cut their stomachs open, slit their throats, cut their heads off and stuff like that. Really horrible stuff,” said McIntyre.

And it isn’t just Russian soldiers who have fallen victim to Ukrainian war crimes. Civilians, McIntyre said, have been targeted by the Ukrainians in pro-Russian separatist regions like the Donbas, and civilian homes and community centers, like schools, are routinely used as shields.

While McIntyre told RT that he was acting as a “spy” against the Ukrainians the entire time he was there, it’s unclear if this is actually true, or if he became disillusioned with the Ukrainian cause after witnessing their conduct first-hand. Nevertheless, the tale of his escape to Russia is harrowing. To escape, McIntyre contacted his family and received $300, before boarding a flight from Odessa to Istanbul, and later to Moscow, fearing for his life the entire time.

McIntyre described to RT how the Ukrainians deal with spies and whistleblowers, saying that they receive a “bullet to the back of the head,” and that it’s quite a regular occurrence, as multiple fighters have simply “disappeared” after being suspected of reporting war criminals.

“And we’re supporting these guys?” McIntyre said of American and NATO involvement in the war. “And these are supposed to be our allies? And we’re supposed to put them in NATO with us? And they can’t even follow the Geneva Convention?”

Far from only supporting the Ukrainians with massive shipments of weapons and cash, McIntyre told RT that the United States has men on the ground in Ukraine, maintaining direct communications with their handlers from the CIA and other American agencies notorious for meddling in global conflict zones and unstable nations.

One of them, a US Navy intelligence officer who McIntyre fought alongside, used a satellite phone to stay in constant contact with his American bosses.

“Every day he would call his contacts and he would get information about the positions, troops movements, and so on,” McIntyre told RT.

Reuters — March 3, 2023 (video follows article)

A Russian submarine in the Sea of Japan has hit a land target over 1,000 kilometres (621 miles) away with a Kalibr cruise missile in a drill, Russia’s defence ministry said on Friday, the same type of missile Moscow uses in the Ukraine conflict.

The ministry published a video showing the missile emerging from under the water and then hitting a target at a training area in Russia’s eastern Khabarovsk region.

Russia, locked in a decades-old territorial dispute with Tokyo over a chain of Pacific islands, said an undisclosed number of its Pacific Fleet ships, jets and drones were also involved in the drill, securing the perimeter.

Moscow has used Kalibr missiles to attack multiple targets in Ukraine, including power stations, by launching them from ships and submarines in the Black Sea.
