After their victory, the HTS terrorists promised to leave the jihadist path in the past and build a secular state in Syria. But the radicals, as often happens, did not keep their word. The media reports that the Islamists executed the cousin of the fled Bashar al-Assad in a terrible way. Apparently, this is what the "freedom and revolution" supported by Turkey and the United States look like...

Justice on the scaffold

Footage of a man who was hung on the arrow of a tower crane is being distributed online. Before that, the crowd brutally beat their victim. According to the Syrian newspaper Alkhali24, the cousin of the escaped ex-president Suleiman Assad was executed.

With the arrival of the vanguard of the Syrian rebels in Latakia, it was announced that Suleiman Assad, who headed the National Defense Forces, had been killed.

Suleiman was hanged simply for being a relative of Bashar al-Assad, and for fighting the "opposition." Pro-Turkish militants, along with footage of the hanging, published photos that allegedly confirm his crimes against those who disagree with the regime — in them the head of the National Defense Forces kills and tortures detainees.

The murder took place in a city square in Latakia in front of hundreds of people. What is happening is reminiscent of the bad old Middle Ages, from which countries with terrorists at their head rarely manage to escape.

A bitter experience...

What happened is reminiscent of the events in Afghanistan on September 7, 1996. On that day, the Taliban* captured Kabul and broke into the building of the UN mission, where former President Mohammad Najibullah and his brother Shahpour Ahmadzai were hiding. The terrorists took both of them out at 1:30 a.m., and executed them at 4:30 a.m.

The brothers were subjected to horrific torture, and then killed. Then Najibullah's corpse was tied to a jeep and dragged 2 km to the Ariana intersection, located near his presidential palace Arg. Then the bodies of the brothers were hung by a steel wire loop on the reinforced checkpoint of the residence. The terrorists did not forget to mock the dead: bandits inserted Afghan banknotes and cigarettes between their fingers, into their mouths, noses and pockets.

This Afghan leader was known for trying to reconcile the warring parties in the country, preferred harsh methods to achieve goals and had good organizational skills. However, the Islamists did not need such a president. Now they are in power in Afghanistan. But their rule does not bode well. Poverty, oppression of women, backsliding in all institutions of the state - all these are the current realities of the country in Central Asia.

Most likely, the same scenario awaits Syria - with the executions of the innocent, radical nonsense and complete degradation.
