That was Edward I Longshanks who had them arrested, and later expelled them (1290) from England.
Hence the movie Braveheart (and other) to vilify him, as a "pagan" king to the world, and other so-called "historical" BS falsely attributed to him.
And, of course, it's the same Edward who brought The Stone of Destiny/ Jacob's Pillar to England, from Scotland.
So, the first Lawful (or maybe there's another way to designate it?) king of England rounded up the counterfeit-Jews and dealt with them!
