Ecologists in Action expressed its discontent caused yesterday by the arrival to the port of Gibraltar of a new nuclear submarine of the Royal Navy: the ‘HMS Torbay N79’.

The ecologist group “misses” the opposition of the Gibraltarian population to the stay of these “floating bombs” in the Bay of Gibraltar. Verdemar remembers that “no nuclear submarine is safe” and regrets that, despite the technological advances, “they do not look for places more distant from the population” for port of calls.
