Strange things are happening.
This video from Dutch Sinse may help point to what is taking place. The whole mountain range going up the west side of Old Mexico is putting off smoke, no actual fire is taking place there according this video. The deformed edge of the Craton may have something to do with it.
He points out, do you see any particular source of fire to generate that much smoke, as seen on his video.
