Fires on the Rise

If I understand you correctly you are pointing out a troubling trend in online discourse: the assumption that engaging with information—whether by sharing, liking, or even recalling it—means endorsing or adopting it as one’s own belief or also "who's side you are one".

Individuals who have argued with me here seem to get this wrong often.

Judicial Commission of Inquiry into Human Trafficking?

What is this? Where can we read more about it and see this number and where they have sourced it?

To me this does not make sense. I guess this boils down to the question as to what the purpose and how this forum should work.

Are we just supposed to post anything without concern for its credibility, accuracy, or merit—so long as it aligns with a particular narrative?

What are you basing this belief on? The RDS quote, gut feeling of darkest chapter in hell?

But have you even thought about it mathematically and sociologically? Is such a rational approach not something that one would need to verify the probability with?

800K in a year would mean about 1% of U.S child population vanishing in a single year. Over 2100 children per day. In schools and school districts the numbers would be so big that I do not believe it to be credible.

I do not believe comparing the South-East Asian human trafficking and prostitution helps your case but undermines it. If a large numbers of children are trafficked, it becomes highly visible and there would be evident signs in society e.g., an increase in street prostitution, police crackdowns, media coverage which we don't see in the USA.. But I guess the theory is that they've been taken into underground cities of the elite, or Mars as RDS said.
